  1. Feels like a hybrid to me - mostly chess-like (named moves, positional play), but with wargame elements like terrain and unit types layered in. Maybe closer to a simplified rank-and-flank system using abstract pieces/cards. Don’t think there’s a strict real-world equivalent - more like a narrative-friendly mix. An official version would be cool, but it seems designed for story first, not full gameplay balance.
  2. Looking for 1-shot ideas or examples people have created for inspiration.
  3. Spoilers for the Worldbook require a two-week tag outside Brandon Games; after that, free in Cosmere/Stormlight. Stonewalkers content must always be tagged except in its dedicated subforum.
  4. Your aluminum item ideas are solid. Option 2 for crafting upgrades/drawbacks makes sense-it balances power without being OP. For weapons, option 3 with a small die roll tied to skill ranks is a good way to model “lucky hits” without breaking game balance. Armor and shields as weaker, lighter versions of half-shard with limited deflect value also works. Overall, it’s a fair, playable approach if your GM agrees.
  5. Best moments - pulling off powerful combos with abilities or fabrials, especially using Stormlight. Worst moments - when rules get confusing or resources are wasted, slowing down the game.
  6. Main combos: Risky Behavior = extra Opportunity rolls, Gather Evidence = cheaper Focused talents. Chain abilities to save Focus, trigger extra actions, and regain resources like Stormlight. Use cognitive skills + talents for maximum effect.
  7. It’s likely a system bug-sometimes the character builder won’t register prerequisites properly. Double-check that both skills are correctly assigned to your character sheet, and if they are, report it to site support.
  8. The clip highlights detailed skill trees for all Mistborn RPG powers, new Scadrial-themed Envoy/Agent branches, and some lightly revealed Hemalurgy notes and metal mechanics like Atium, A-Steel, and Feruchemical metals.
