  1. K. Tims was getting nervous. With a bomb, the adventurers dividing in two, and Brax’s life changing letter, everyone needed to band together. And yet, they were like a yo-yo about to fly off its string. Maybe some trust exercises, or learning some partner tricks would help her fellow adventurers band together. But if that didn’t work, K didn’t know what would. So adding on, the gun holder can 1) fire their gun, in which case they must claim to be lost. Whoever they should’ve followed won’t receive a notification. The gun holder may just target their followee, to prevent the lack of notification from getting out. 2) not fire, and therefore die. In this case, the gun is randomly distributed and we start over with solving Basically @Doc12 @Frozen Mint @Fizz9 @Through The Living Star to clear yourselves for day 3, you need to follow someone, state in thread who you’re following, and make sure no one else is following that person!! Also hope you don’t get lost
  2. So actually my plan(see first post) could still work; the important thing isn’t knowing where someone is, it’s the notification that comes saying you were followed. We know for a fact now that following someone alerts them. So if we decide beforehand who follows who, then we can make it so there’s accountability regarding our actions. Whoever we’re following will know whether or not we did that action, and whether or not we’re a suspect for holding the gun. There is a 20% chance of getting lost, which the gun holder may try to claim while still firing, but that would at least narrow the pool of suspects. @Araris Valerian @coco.pudding, do we get notified that someone is following us even if they get lost and don’t get the floor/item information? This is also making me a bit suspicious of why doc is pushing for a different plan- to reveal the hero. Doc should know better than anyone that this plan would work, having received a follow notification the first night. I think doc has the gun right now. Anyways, if you have any questions on how the following plan would work, please ask so we can implement it before rollover.
  3. So for this FFA you want to be last one or two standing, or become a hero who kills the current holder of the Smoking Gun. Also it seems we want verifiable actions now, to know who is/isn’t shooting someone. Only problem with this is Araris has already said multiple people could follow someone and the notification would be the same, so elim could try and slip in there. Mist said to get items, cause those are useful- that’s one option. We could also arrange it so everyone is followed by one person, forcing whoever has the gun to die or reveal themselves by killing someone else/not following their person. Debate and discuss Ed1t: this is assuming scenario 2, that Mist wasn’t lying
  4. Ugh this is gonna seem like a cop out but I legit feel like they’re both telling the truth. Honestly I’m just a bit suspicious of Doc. Sorry for not helping with the tie
  5. Contributing to the pool of clues… K. Tims wandered room to room, bouncing a yo-yo carved of cremling shell traded from the Parshendi craftsmen of Roshar. Three people had already died in this House, if one counted the stranger. She needed a luckier yo-yo. K stopped in the sculpted archway leading to the next room. It was remarkably plain, save for a sacrificial dagger, stained with blood. Symbols on the wall and floor sparked her memory of a book read long ago, matching the descriptions of some kind of cult of “mysteries.” After noting everything in the room, K retraced her steps and left the archway. Much as she hated to leave a possible murder weapon loose in the House, this was just too creepy. And cultish. Cults made K nervous, though honestly, she thought they should make everyone nervous. With a shiver, she continued on through the House. Also went clue hunting; I presume this to be the Jeskeri paraphernalia, which is unique to scenario 1. At this point, I think we just need more clues to see whether we lean 1 or 2.
  6. And we have to petition for marshmallows to be added to the potential clues
  7. Star’s vote is still counted in the 4 way tie, for current VC
  8. Nope, that was on me; I didn’t connect Dive with Divergent. thanks Mint for fixing it. Right now we’ve got a 4 way tie, which is gonna be random. is this a normal out come for D1/is there anything we should do about it?
  9. I know some people are reading mist as village, but I’m reading opposite actually. Part of this may be sibling antagonism, but in that spirit my votes on mist. Also, I’d soft read striker as village for starting the discussion with pokes, despite the possible train on him. Current vote count (I think) Mint(2): Striker, Wahr Doc(1): Dive Fizz(1): ____/mippo Wahr(3): Fizz, Mint, Star ___/mippo(1): Qian Striker(2): Doc, Mist Akimoko(1): Divergent Mist(1): Fallen Basement (3) - Mist, Striker, Mint Ground Floor (5) - Wahr, Fizz9, ___, Star, Conure1243 Upstairs (4) - Divergent, Doc12, Verdance, Miss Fallen *thanks Doc and Divergent for tracking these
  10. Fair; we just try to figure out the scenario all the ways, combining our info, and only use gift as a last resort. I like this plan
  11. So to continue our exploration declarations, I went upstairs. Also, people with roles doesn’t entirely clear them. The rules have this whole thing about 50/50 for the weighting. “After the scenario is selected, the elims/Kandra/Gun are handed out per the specific scenario. For each choice, a coin flip determines whether the player is selected from the Floor Exploration pool, or from the entire player pool. For example, if only Araris explores the Ground Floor during N0 and Scenario 2 is selected, there is a 50% chance Araris receives the Smoking Gun, and a 50% chance that anyone gets it (Araris could also get it from this roll).“ -this is in the exploration on N0 section So floor and roles don’t equate scenario, but can help. We should definitely prioritize searching for clues; while some may be from the wrong scenario, getting lots of clues will hopefully narrow down which scenario we’re in. This seems like the most solid way to solve the scenario, especially as these will be info we don’t already have.
  12. The House felt wrong. K had been fine before entering, but now she had the oddest sensation. It was like before a performance, when she worried one of her yo-yos was missing. And yet, each time she counted, all of them were right where she stashed them in her pockets. The butler, whatever his name was, mentioned a kitchen and beds. It would be good to know where the kitchen was; snacks and water were a necessity. And maybe she could find an office- that’s where the good knickknacks would be. K pulled a black and gold splattered yo-yo out, then flicked it into a few trapeze variations to keep her fingers nimble. This was the kind of House you stayed alert in. And with that, K set off in to the left in search of a kitchen.
  13. K eyed the House. Alone, it was suspicious, but now people were flocking to it, having s’mores, and spouting poetry! She’d come on a dare, but things kept getting curious and curiouser. K absently bounced one of her many yo-yos up and down, the only clue as to how eager she was to simply enter the House and get this dare over with.
  14. I’ll join; sounds complicated but fun. Presenting K. Tims, yo-yo artist extraordinaire.
  15. Kay so I also need to revise my entire worldview since Coco is revealed as village. Coco you were right(C3), the best option now is to reconsider current reads (especially mine cause I was tying mine together). RIP Coco So quick reevaluation of Ver; the prefect situation actually was a good test, which changes things around. It shifts my overall read, especially with the other dependent interactions, to village. I’m much less confident on my read of Hopper. Some previous points still stand, but I don’t know if they’ve posted enough to get a strong read. So for now I’m probably gonna say neutral? Drake/Aman I still think Drake has elim potential, their prefect mess just reads differently from Ver’s. Part of this could be general chaos vibes, but the vibes still seem to be there. New suspects may be TJ and/or Wahr because they’ve been mentioned in thread a few times and my reads on them are uncertain. Idk though Anyone feel they have new elim suspects? Cause Coco flipping village seems to have upset quite a few theories
  16. “FLY YOU FOOLS!” someone shouted. Hufflepuff and Slytherin seemed to be the players, but Jane saw some of Gryffindor and even her own house. This definitely wasn’t an official game, so she’d mess with both sides. Jane tossed some puffapods towards the tiny Hufflepuff keeper yelling, “Make sure they get plenty of water and sunlight, else you’ll be the one going in the ground!”
  17. Jane was taking her mandrakes and a few other plants out for a leisurely stroll amongst the clouds. There had been a great kerfuffle around the broom storage, so she simply ‘borrowed’ one. Now, there was a buzz around the quidditch field. She flew over to check things out, and maybe give her plants some practice with the game.
  18. So Mist wanted a hashtag (don’t worry we’re siblings no secrets have been shared) And this is what we got #voteCHA/DandVforelim ed1t: nothing against the elims, just trying to make a catchy campaign slogan
  19. So common consensus is that there’s at least 1 elim in Coco, Ink, Ver, and TJ. I’d say the events of this cycle further cement my opinion that Coco, Ver, Hopper, and Aman/Drake are the elim team. Ver and Drake use the same modus operandi. I’ve said it previously, but I think winning the game of chess meant Ver won prefect, not the choice of who their prefect was. Now, Ver says they lied about Mist being prefect. Drake also causes confusion regarding prefect. Ink and Mint both confirm Ink is prefect, but then Drake claims to be prefect instead. Basically, Drake and Ver are trying extremely hard to cause confusion as to who the prefect is, which I believe is to cover up the fact that, as elims, they won’t NK themselves. (For those curious, I think Ver and Ink are the real prefects) Coco is actively trying to clear herself and Ver of having any spells left. Coco claims they thought Ver was elim, but later in the cycle back off that claim and shift to other people for elim suspects, because Ver has supposedly been cleared. Coco also does a lot with Drake trying to shift suspicion over to Ink and TJ, the other prefects. Both put public votes for Ink, and Coco also votes for TJ. Finally, Hopper failed to vote again, which could be irl stuff/inactivity but reads more suspicious to me. Additionally, Hopper’s reads seem in the similar vein of helping his teammates and targeting villager prefects. He reads Coco as villager, despite them coming 3rd (technically 2nd) lowest in the votes. Hopper does the same with Aman/Drake, though Aman was slightly higher in the votes. TJ comes out as an elim read, which is based off vibes. With vibes, I’d say the opposite. Plus, TJ is a prefect, so this comes across as more targeted. Anyways, vote Coco, Drake, Ver, and Hopper for elim!
  20. So random sleep deprived thoughts I don’t want to forget @DrakeMarshall or @Frozen Mint can either of you confirm this discussion? Drake, we know you’ve been on since then, but still suspect Ink of obliviate. Idk if you somehow haven’t seen this post, but you kinda seem to be framing them
  21. Yeah, welcome pinch hitters! Jane stood on the fringes of the Great Hall, listening for anything interesting. Students from all the house were here to know who had been killed this time. Although, it would seem this had been a trio of deaths. Which was ridiculous. Her precious plants in the greenhouses didn’t die this frequently, even with the many incompetent students handling them. And now the school had 5 deaths just in the past few days. A wave of new whispers washed through. It seemed one Leonidas had been expelled … after a mishap in herbology. Jane darted out of the castle and down to the greenhouses. Checking in on each set of plants, she stopped upon reaching a particular pot of Devil’s Snare. “Oh, you poor thing, who was handling you so roughly?” Jane cooed. “I bet it was that Leo person who was expelled. Serves him right for not giving you the love you deserve, beautiful.” If anyone else wants to be in the greenhouse for rp, go ahead.
  22. I think they’re just connected by virtue of both being in the Gryffindor pm with Aman, and then placing guesses on each other. Aman mentioned this guessing discussion in their pm, and he was trying to pin one of them as elim but I read it as a clearing of both ink and mint.
  23. Alright idk if I’m playing wrong but I’m gonna state my 4 elim suspects(no particular order). Hopper: So based on his profile, Hopper has been playing for a while. Saying negative = good is not the kind of mix-up an experienced player would make. I don’t think a newcomer would even think that. Then he failed to vote - again, experienced player. Plus, hopper was really pushing for prefect in the relatively chill ravenclaw pm(which has been stated before). All of this makes me read him as suspicious and elim. Sorry, guess I don’t have good faith. Vergrass: The argument in this 1st quote by Vergrass reads very much elim. Hufflepuff only had 2 people, and Archer ruled no self voting for prefects(see house pms). If mist and ver just voted for each other, the tie would be broken randomly. So, we can assume this is where the game of chess to choose prefect comes in. Ver won, but I think that meant he won prefect(and a spell), not the choice for who is prefect. Plus, from here we can see that Mist believed Hufflepuff would be targeted to eliminate a prefect. Once this was explained, we can see that it would be easy for an elim Ver to agree with this, then claim the prefect died with Mist. Also, general vibes of Ver’s posts have been reading elim to me, so yeah. And I know Ver’s recently been worried about going down next but all I can say is I’ve been working on this theory for a bit. Aman & Coco: These two definitely have moments individually that are weird or give off elim vibes, but for ease of explanation I’m combining them. The whole fake secret role really bugged me, even though I know people sometimes troll or do weird tests. It was more Aman’s interaction with Coco that felt off. Like I said previously, Aman accuses Coco, then based on 1 thing from TUM Aman eventually goes complete 180(see pg 3, this is too long to quote). As for Coco; when Aman accuses them, Coco just goes with it, playing along. There doesn’t seem to be any real reaction, more of a wolf theater impression. The same thing seems to happen again on page 6. Aman is giving explanation for his actions and general/light analysis, while Coco responds with a question or something and no analysis. Basically Coco isn’t going very in-depth, though we know she can from previous posts this game. It makes me think their discussion is just wolf theater, a show to confuse us. All in all, these two have strong elim vibes. With regards to voting, negatives will definitely be these guys though the order is TBD. Also, I know I’m a new player so let me know if I just sound crazy. Edit: sorry the formatting is weird
  24. Like I said, it was largely guessing. I think I first noticed Ink when looking at different people within the houses, because everyone was debating the possibility of 1 elim per house. Plus I was disinclined to join the trains without fully understanding the reasonings myself. Hope this clears that up. I’ve got suspicions now though, so Ink’s safe from me
