“cer” stands for claim evidence reasoning, it’s like the 1 paragraph mini-essay. I just chose it as random school assignment, cause since it’s not a big grade the college student graded it. he said to “maybe not doodle cosmere symbols in the margins”. and yah i’m not good at responding either. when in doubt, i rant on a vaguely related topic, then apologize for everything I said. see my last replies. sorry for trying to teach you to reply like you need help. just didn’t know how to reply, so i came up with that. oh great i’m spiraling into infinite apology loop. sorry

yeah and we do, I just get unnecessarily worried that since he reads them too, he’ll be like “cool cer… but i saw you reading in class…” because i do do that, tho i can multitask enough to learn. and most of my teachers (especially English) are more fine with it, because such a huge book they must be learning… and since i spend my time on whatever Sanderson is unblocked, most teachers are just happy to see words on my screen instead of games, but i get scared that he’ll see through it… i guess sometimes I rely on overdoing the reading part of my personality… yah i don’t really understand what i’m talking about either, but a irl friend told me to do that last time. and i hope so… tho i don’t know, because when i need to talk to strangers, i get social anxiety and just shrug or stay in my chair and spiral into procrastination…

Yeah he’s pretty cool. Only flaw is that he’s the only teacher-type person I can’t impress with my book to avoid doing work, because he reads them too. Not Shard alt account… like signing out of the school Chromebook and signing in with my home gmail. Then adding the school account as a secondary Google account, so I still do schoolwork. And I’m on wind and truth… it’s being really good and stormlight is perfect for maximum impressions. Though one time I wasn’t paying attention and dropped it on the table… the whole thing shook and everyone jumped... #sharderproblems and now i’m feeling paranoid and like a poser for the hashtag… u can just ignore that… anyway, and it doesn’t fit in my backpack, so i have to carry it around (though i could probably argue it doesn’t fit there either) and i can’t decide to feel smart or embarrassed for lugging it around. tho you’re right, they prob don’t care.

Yeah finding this thread is showing that… though it’s more irl stuff, I’ve spammed Sanderson facts (“GUYS SANDERSONS MAKING MOVIES” “50% TODAY”) and nobody knows what I’m talking about. Except the student teacher in my history class. But he’s in college. Yeah most days I take a few bites then eat the snacks I can for in my backpack. But I eat when I get home. and I’m tempted to ask how… but I guess I shouldn’t… *resisting* I’ve tried, but my school uses blocksi and it’s the worst controls I’ve ever seen (and I move schools a lot, I’ve seen 4 at this point) I’ve tried as much as I can, even asked some high schoolers and friends from other schools… they tried putting in all sorts of proxies and ip addresses and stuff i don’t understand… it didn’t work. and at this point, i’m out of game sites. all I’ve had to do is watch the backerkit… i guess I should make a alt account with the school account added as secondary, but that would take effort, and my parents put controls on my home computer and I need to ask them to verify me logging into anything… sorry for ranting and I probably should, but i get paranoid about looking weird holding a huge stormlight book and backpack and bag… though i probably shouldn’t, i go to this art school and everyone looks crazy. of course, this is the school where obscure cosplays are day wear, but NO ONE HAS HEARD OF SANDERSON… *sigh* anyway TL;DR, sorry

Hello! Found this thread and am happy! I was kind of paranoid I was the only kid who read Sanderson… On the topic being discussed… my food is more edible than my old schools… it’s still really bad… except on Fridays. Fridays are like restaurant quality. unfortunately the school is un-redeemed (feel like I need a good word there) by them blocking the shard. BLASPHEMY! so I have to wait till I get home, except now cause spring break. i could bring a lunch… but I spend my time picking what book I’ll bring to school. plus my backpack already has too much stuff in it, my parents keep trying to take stuff out.

so i’m factor i guess… though i might change that i’ve already been lurking for a while, but I didn’t make my account until the movies got announced and became paranoid people would think I jumped on the bandwagon from the movies. probably didn’t need to worry, but I’ve actually been reading Sanderson since like 1st grade with Alcatraz. But I just rediscovered him (and discovered the cosmere) this Christmas. so I’ve been actually active now for like a week, and now I’ve been actually learning about it. like reckoners rp, hemalurgically spiked cookies, whatnot. And now I’ve been figuring out AMAs, so know I’m making this! So, umm… me. I read. Lately I’ve been seeing how long I can go reading only Sanderson (lasted 3 months with the ones I have) but besides that, I like Anna James (more cozy fantasy, main series about traveling into books) James Riley (one epic, some fractured fairy tales, another about going inside books) and in the “realistic” there’s James Ponti (mystery… why is everyone named James? looked at my shelf and saw James Patterson and James dashner as well… but don’t like them as much.) my irl friends say I read too much… I insist I don’t but I spend the rest of my time here (or coppermind). Ah well. Oh yeah, last thing… since way before I was on the shard (well, more like 2 days between account creation, but 2 months between becoming active!) I’ve been editing on the coppermind. I think I’m kind of good at it… so far I fixed taynix/doomslug history (because i couldn’t stand the great Doomslug The Destroyer to stay unfinished. That’s why I joined) and some minor edits, and I’ve been working on making the draulin character page cause it was mostly empty. anyway TL;DR, y’all didn’t need to know all that. ok bye. also, since I posted this I became a bridgeman! I know I said I’d stop posting to celebrate, but I can put it in existing posts, riiiiight? hope I survive long enough to promote to a rank will lower death rate…

I love the Duolingo owl! I like the character design in general, plus I feel like it’s just the right amount of pushy (the other characters feel worse to me) (unless it’s the end of the day and I still haven’t done my lesson, then they’re scary) I think the sky's blue because the ocean was blue and the sky was jealous, or something like that. Or something about blue having the longest wavelength and rhythms and pure tones and whatnot. My second favorite plant is the peace lily plant, minus the actual lilies, in a pot, because when I saw it years ago on the Bastille cover flap I was like, “That’s it! That’s what I’ve always imagined a potted plant as!” and now I have one.

So I actually had to look that up… I might misinterpret the question sorry I’d say conformation bias? Just cause I seee it used and experience it the most, plus I sometimes use it to hype things I think will be good (like when my irl wanted to start cosmere with tress, I tried to use it for hoid so they would understand he actually has great fashion sense) (*insert breeze justification, this is totally ethical*) Umm… I play chess (not good at it) and have a switch (not 2, sad) I mostly play like Mario/zelda type stuff, of the “popular online games” only Minecraft. I, personally, feel competent at math, but don’t exactly enjoy it… it feels kinda fun when I’m learning a concept (unless it’s too hard) and then I have to master it, then I feel like I don’t like math anymore. And I like the spoiler things! Then just feel satisfying instead of annoying. Anyway gtg, day off tomorrow so I should be online.
