  1. The Outlier stared at the wall-phasing man with a more than slightly annoyed look. He sucked in a breath and exhaled slowly. He turned to look around the corner again. "I don't have the energy or patience to deal with beings like you right now."
  2. Vlanis raised his eyebrows. Something about this seemed sketchy. Glyer looked more like a conman by the minute. Perhaps the information wasn't real. He thought. After all this time, the information that had given him hope could be unreliable. Anger rose in his chest. Just when he was about to stand and shoot the man, he stopped himself. Vlanis would wait. If that Plotblade was real, shooting Glyer might not be the best idea. He would have to be certain that Glyer wasn't a conman. So he sat, silently readying his gun. - Outlier paused, about to kick open the door. He didn't like the look of the figure. He quietly backed away, hiding behind the building's corner and looking at the cloaked newcomer.
  3. The Outlier ran down Ambiguous Ave, checking the flyer before stopping in front of a building. The address said the seminar was here. He pulled out a sword and a small handgun. Vlanis wouldn't get the jump on him this time.
  4. Vlanis watched as the woman who had caused the disturbance unsheathed a sword and walked to two shady folks conversing in the back. He carefully checked the long dagger sheathed under his coat. The tension at this seminar seemed to be growing by the minute, and if trouble arose, he would need to be ready.
  5. Vlanis ignored the building confusion that was rising within the seminar. Finally... He thought. An actual lead. Of course, he would have to make sure Glyer wasn't a conman. Vlanis looked at him, attempting to reestablish order. Almost subconsiously, he checked his gun. It had become a habit. He would wait. If Glyer really was a god-slayer, it was likely that Vlanis couldn't kill him, even if he attuned to the Vael. Besides, there could be more useful information. - The Outlier stopped, panting from exhaustion. He had run all over the city and hadn't found a trace of Vlanis. He sighed before a flyer on the ground attracted his attention. He picked it up. God slaying 101? He thought. This place was weird. Wait. God slaying? Outlier stuffed the paper into his pocket. He had a lead.
  6. Vlanis snapped back to his usual calm expression and looked around for the source of the outcries, as was the majority of the crowd.
  7. Vlanis stared at the dagger in fascination and awe, his face betraying a glimmer of hope and something like... relief. He slowly sat back down.
  8. Not even sparing the Witherlord a glance, Vlanis asked, "How do you kill Narrators?"
  9. in the auditorium on Ambiguous Ave. in a city somewhere.
  10. The Outlier appeared on the ground, eyes closed, his chest still feeling phantom pain from Vlanis's bullet. He sighed and banged his fist on the hard floor. Vlanis had got him. Now, nothing could stop him from his vengeful plan. The Outlier was a universe away. He slowly opened his eyes. Then snapped up straight. His surroundings were different, but not in the way of a new universe. I’m in the same Threadverse as before. He quickly stood up and frantically looked around. He was alone. Most of the time when he died, he would go to a different plane of existence. But there were rare exceptions when he only traveled in time. But that was only when... A cruel, familiar voice in his head whispered, I must be honest, this is the most entertainment I've seen since I found you two. I'm not letting you out that easily. Outlier clenched his fists for a long moment, tense from anger. Then he ran down the street, trying to find Vlanis.
  11. Vlanis finds an empty seat and patiently waits, politely greeting anyone passing him while cleaning and reloading his gun.
  12. This is a problem I often have, where I hop from project to project, and don't get that far on any. Any advice on how to stick to one project?
  13. Vlanis considers the flyer. "Well, certainly worth looking into."
  14. I hope to learn about Flaws, as I'm planning to include them in my character's plot. If that's ok. After grabbing a bagel, Vlanis walked back onto the street. "Now... " He looked around. "Where can I go to learn how to kill a god?"
  15. I'm just trying to find a way to connect my character to whatever is happening right now, but I still don't have a clear picture of what is happening altogether, or a lot of the lore... I'm just trying to wing it as i go along.
  16. thank you Vlanis looked around. "But before that, where might I find a cafe? I'm starving."
  17. The Outlier walked down an empty street. It had been some time since he arrived, and his adversary hadn't arrived yet. Perhaps... A portal appeared in front of him. From it, a man wearing a silver suit strolled from it. The Outlier cursed. "Vlanis." Vlanis smiled coldly. "Good evening, friend. Forgive me, but this is necessary." The man pulled out a gun. The Outlier glared. "Our Author will..." Vlanis scoffed. "Our Author is too busy fighting over a Sandwich to care about you." He pulled the trigger. The second the bullet hit the Outlier, he disappeared in a silent flash. Vlanis looked around. Nothing. He smiled. "Good. Now that's that, doing the impossible will be much easier." I hope I'm not breaking any rules.
  18. I laugh as well. Then throw a tree at you.
  19. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA Ok, I'm better now I challenge you to a friendly game of catch for the Sandwich.
  20. A long, grabby claw thingy taps your shoulder. I grab the Sandwich from the oppisite side while you to see who tapped your shoulder.
  21. BUBBLES! I am thoroughly distracted as I chase and attempt to eat them.
  22. I pull out a bubble pipe and smile smugly. "Using deductive reasoning, there is only one explanation." I pause for dramatic effect. "... Yeah, I got nothing. But the past is the past. It only matters if you look back." I blow a bunch of bubbles in your face, and while you engage in your inner child, I steal the Sandwich.
  23. I offer to give you a Sandwich Searcher 4000™ Limited Edition, for all your Sandwich searching needs, for the price of one Sandwich!
  24. Makes sense. Now a powerful being made out of plasma, I decide to summon a large amount of iron inside its core, causing the iron to drain heat from it. This stops the fusion process, causing the Sun to cool and degenerate into a cold, dense iron-rich white dwarf.
