Don't forget that they had canning technology in the first Mistborn trilogy. Canned food is huge, without it poeple in real life would not have progressed geographically wise as fast as they did, and geographic expansion led to new discoveries of resources such as various medicines (like aspirin), new cultures and a great expansion in trade. Anyways, it was my impression that the major cities were relatively advanced, being at a later date level of technology, and the frontier towns would be more primitive.

I just discovered something I really hate: Incorrectly named network workstations. I had to walk throughout my school and turn on every single electronic device, then sit and wait for the network scan to get the data from every device, only to discover that I have to search every device and find the two incorrectly named computers then change their names.

But then why does pewter burn really fast? I don't really believe that the metal does not get expended. Also, since Brandon said that actions determine power on Roshar, then, I believe, the action would be the physical component.

I wasn't sure if I could put the game I made here, but this is the creator's corner so... Ten Stones is a game where the player tries to get a ten stones or more in their stockpile before the opponent (in this case the computer). Yeah, I know that is in DOS format and looks ugly, I am still working on learning GUIs. Tell me what you think about it please. (P.S. run the batch file, not the jar.) EDIT: new version available. not much changed, except now it is easier on the eyes and easier to read. TenStones.zip

I like the idea, but I tend not to stick with forums and such if they are already established for a while or have a lot of members (There wasn't a lot of members when I joined 17th shard). Also, I am kinda busy at the moment.

@ Happyman Then I will stick with "piece of {SHARD-NAME}" I agree with you on the Dor being the common ground, but I am not sure about the shards creating a place of power, if that were true and all humans on Sel were neutral then even a Fjordell would be able to use AonDor if he lived in Arelon long enough like a Dula. They can't though; there has never been a fjordell elantrian.
