  1. That site makes me want to punch little puppies. The page made me go cross eyed.
  2. I was just wondering because its your turn. I don't know what the plot with the caravan part is, so I can't post by myself.
  3. That is really busy sounding. Don't get stressed.
  4. I'm fine with that, but what about Aaron?
  5. @Cuaiirtake your time, I don't mind. What do you do anyway? @Frostbourne Your character and one of mine don't really need Cuaiir's interference right now. Its mostly PC/ minor NPC interaction for them. I just posted for Jack so whenever you are ready.
  6. This forum is actually pretty lively compared to Seeking the Eternal Conflux, that place is a graveyard. I should be able to post Jacks activity sometime tomorrow today. After I do that I should be ready to start. If you are free as well, maybe if we ask nicely, Cuaiir will give us a non-plot related story for us to mess around in until the other members aren't being assaulted by life.
  7. Temptation. Temptation.
  8. Well, I guess it would depend on how they became zombies. If it was through some sort of spiritual disease then yeah it would be a bad idea, but as long as the spikes are properly cleaned it should be okay. Until the Koloss turn into zombies... *shudders*
  9. If its just allomancy, then I would probably go with what other people have said. As for zombies using allomancy, I think it would depend on what kind of zombie it is. If the zombie is running on instinct, then I would say yes, since allomancy at its most basic is instinctual. If I had hemalurgy, I would make some hemalurgists like Zane (to give them great ability with Steel-pushes) and have them shoot spikes into the zombies to steal power, provided power can be obtained. If no power can be obtained, then they will just take headshots. For feruchemy, very useful abilities would be the ability to store wakefulness, and store nutrients.
  10. Sorry for not posting in a while as well. The dreaded school caught me. Animal Eye Spy Allows the bearer to see through the eyes of any nearby animal, the size and distance of the animal varies with the rating of the grid it is attached too. Ok. Cool. one of my friends was hoping for this. Poke in the Third Eye nullifies any form remote viewing spell or technology for a short (couple seconds) time. The component must recharge under the light of the moon* after each use. Uhh.... *provided there is a moon. There's not. ehh. It was just an idea. Free game for anyone who wants to change this. Catch Phrase This component attaches to a formsphere. When the spheremorph shifts to that form, he can utter a phrase, at least five words long, and receive a slight strength boost. This phrase must be the same every time and is chosen upon first being used. Changing the phrase locks out the component, until it is attached to a different formsphere. If we change this to attach to a Grid Slot, instead of a Formsphere, sure.< Okay. Heroic Sacrifice When attached to a grid, the bearer names a person or location. Upon the bearer's death in baseline, the grid, components and formspheres attached to it immediately teleport to that person or location. This component, upon teleportation, disintegrates. This should probably be attached to the Spheremount, rather than the Grid. You know, so they can actually use the components. Otherwise sure. Derr. That's what I meant. EDIT: Sorry for any weird formatting issues. I don't know what happened.
  11. Perhaps I should have been more specific in my question. Can a kandra duplicate a parshendi carapace? It was just something I idly wondered.
  12. I attempted for five minutes to come up with a proper reply to that and failed, and now my head hurts.
  13. Can a Kandra duplicate a parshendi body?
  14. @Eerongal That is just...no.
  15. Is there a basement with a pool?
  16. Yeah. Bronze was the only one I could think of off the top of my head. I don't think so. You may be confusing the physical changes caused by transferring human attributes, I can't find anywhere where it says that human attributes can only work for non-humans. After all, both Inquisitors and Koloss were human.
  17. I wouldn't say manipulate, I would say given the choice. After all, as Harmony, Sazed has to create the greatest possibility of choice. As said in the conversation with Wax about why he couldn't interfere too much.
  18. Okay, I'll let you know once I learn the basics a bit.
  19. Incorrect. The earring was bronze, she was a hemalurgist seeker. That was why she could pierce copperclouds. EDIT: also, hemalurgy doesn't require burning metal. It is the transfer of the spirit web between two beings. So a bronze spike, like her earring, takes the seeker ability from a misting or Mistborn and transfers it to another host. The hemalurgy itself is not activated or need to be activated by burning metal. One can also transfer human strength using a pewter spike, it doesn't require burning pewter to access this strength.
  20. Don't forget that Sazed also had is rings inside him at one point. Perhaps, they acted as spikes. Though I am not so sure about this one. Or it could be because he is a feruchemist, and therefore has an equal combination of Ruin and Preservation in his power.
  21. I was going to say that I get this a lot with my character profiles on the RP boards.
  22. I don't know. It seems too short of a time frame since 4e and pathfinder for a new edition and reminds me of microsoft and its constant new os'. I think I'll stick with pathfinder for a while.
