Goooood night Sharders!
Decently productive day. I did get assigned snow work, which is unfortunate.
I’ve been procrastinating an application for a cool thing, but I have one more question on it and that shouldn’t take me any time (yippee)
No insanity tonight, just a simple reminder:

Sol placed the ring in Sandy’s hand, “good. Hold onto that place.” He stepped back, and drew in a sharp breath. Something from the center of Sol’s chest began to glow with that same golden light. The light extends towards the ring, now clutched in Sandy’s hand. The tendrils on Sol’s arms growth further, and engulf more. Within this, Sol speaks, “I gift you a place beyond the dark between stars. Fear no longer, for through this, you have a place.” The light flows from Sol into Sandy’s ring. As the transfer completes, a ring of light pulses outward, beyond the clearing. The ring now has flowing lines of gold embedded into the black stone, “It is done. You may traverse freely now, using your abilities as you wish.” Sol ignores the purple and black that did not recede and now coats his fingers.

Sol nodded, and gestured to Sandy to hold out his hand, ”Now, for this to work, you need to picture someplace within this plane. It doesn’t matter where, as long as you can hold it in your mind vividly.” Sol’s eyes began to glow with a golden light, as purple and black tendrils began crawling up his arms, “can you do it?”

“If we do this right, you should have no restrictions,” Sol paused for a moment, “it would function as a tether to this plane of existence. Something to ensure you don’t slip too far, as well as something to be pulled on to regain your footing in this degree.”

“I think we should at least try. External magic sources shouldn’t be affected by his abilities. This might be your solution: something anchored to this…thin slice that he has no affect on.” Sol looked to Sandy, “would you like to try?”

“When a new venor is born, we have no true reality. We start to slip between folds in creation when entering physical planes,” Sol reaches into his bag, “To account for this issue, each chooses a core place and builds an anchor around it.” He pulls out a ring of black stone, still jagged like it hasn’t been polished since it was first carved. He held up the object, “it is not the same situation, but I can try the same on your friend. Perhaps work to anchor him to one plane, to stable him.”

Sol startled at this. He glances down to his pack, considering, before looking back up at the pair, “May I try something?”

Sol watched the exchange with little more than a shift in expression. He looked to the human, ”Are you alright?” Sol asked, as he nodded to Sandy’s legs.

Sol took the change away from the topic with charge, ”This place exists to serve the finder. We’re all escaping from something, and this place serves as a haven. From the lore I’ve heard, things of any variety can happen here.”

“I come from a world by the name of Corotto. A fractured world of competing forces. I am of one of these forces” Sol pauses, thinking, “The world of Hiraeth is a modern world. One of power and revolution. My sister-“ Sol cuts himself off, eyes dropping.

Sol considers for a moment, “I cannot say I’m familiar.”

Based on a game my irl friends and I play The rules are simple: Everyone must choose a color of Stickies (provided in the spoilers) On your chosen Stickie, you write a simple message retaining to the person who posted before you (so the first one should be about me) Stickies can be compliments, jokes, messages, etc. Optional: As @Honors Ghost and I did previously, writing something along the lines of “get stickied” in your post when you stickie someone (If more colors are needed, I shall add them)

*hugss* I’m so sorry. It’s always hard when someone you care about is struggling Kansas covered most of it, but what I will say is don’t stop checking in. Sometimes, the best thing you can do is keep reminding them that the door is open when/if they want to talk. Make sure she knows that you’re here and you care about her and how she’s doing. Sometimes they’ll want your help, sometimes they won’t. Just keep putting effort into that connection. Reminding them that you’re there is one of the best things you can do

Good night lovelies! I’m feeling chatty tonight, so this might be a long one
As it stands, I am starting to miss school SOLELY for the human interaction and the fact that not being there is giving me constant anxiety
I am going fully stir crazy, I want to get out of my house. I want to go running. I’ve been shifting between activities like crazy, it’s getting ridiculous.
I finished my book bedazzling (yay) and have been reading to fill my time. I miss the tennis courts not being covered in ice. Playing rn would feel great.
I did what I could with my home workouts today, and that did feel good but I yearn for being able to lift heavy weights
Uhhh, I’ve discovered I find the U.S. light map unnecessarily funny. Maybe that’s just me going insane, who knows
Yup, that’s all. Gooood night, I’ll talk with everyone tomorrow cause school has still not been reopened
