    Exactly, like what even is a ringer. I think it is because "Ringer" implies skilled deception. The term "ringer" comes from a slang term for an expert who is brought into a competition to deceive others and guarantee a win. This perfectly describes a Chromium Compounder's advantage.

    Compounding chromium creates very interesting effects, though it seems like Brandon plans on revealing more about compounding limit in era 3 of Mistborn.
