  1. A large explosion would probably work, he survives dynamite but I'm sure a stronger one could take him out. I wonder if a
  2. I think the final once could be referencing Dalinar himself, this is where he died after all and Oathbringer is his book
  3. That's true, but I think it's most likely they have something to keep them alive there. Hoid could be being sustained by
  4. I think everyone is ignoring the climate of Scadrial. Normal humans can barely stand to exist, the Southern Scadrians had some way of surviving but we don't know what. It's likely that while militarily the Final Empire could be conquered, the hellish conditions of Scadrial would result in the death of most if not every US soldier
  5. Yeah, I should've clarified that this is pre Cognitive Shadow Taln and this would be with the full inquisitor spikes
  6. If Taln had been been spiked and left in the same situation as Marsh, do you think his will could've overcome Ruin? He never broke to Odium's torture which makes me think he could, but for how long and to what extent?
  7. I would love to play Dalinar but unfortunately I am not a 40 year old asian man, so I'll settle for Szeth instead who I resemble more(though I'd have to shave my head)
  8. I think everyone's ignoring compounding. Personally I'd double up on copper, you essentially have an infinite memory. Think about the endless permanent knowledge you could have. If compounding isn't allowed, probably A-pewter plus F-Gold, essentially immortality
  9. I said Elsecallers wouldn't mind them because both focus on self mastery, perhaps the Elsecallers would be understanding of the Dustbringers
  10. We know the Windrunners and Skybreakers had a rivalry, but what about outside of them? Here are some of my headcanons: Bondsmiths and Elsecallers liked eachother to do both often being leaders Windrunners and Stonewards were good friends due to sharing similar ideals Dustbringers were disliked by everyone except Skybreakers and Elsecallers Truthwatchers and Lightweavers were generally close orders
  11. I've personally believed that it was a way of showing how people often are sad they can't do the impossible. The dog helps so many people, yet he's still sad about his life. Likewise, Kaladin saves many, yet is sad he couldn't save them all
  12. 1. Wind and Truth 2. Words of Radiance 3. Oathbringer 4. Rhythm of War 5. The Way of Kings honestly WAT as first is quite close for me, I love all these books but I really felt like WAT always had something interesting happening
  13. Out of all the things which haven't been mentioned yet, I'd say Odium being unable to truly beat Dalinar was my favorite. The sheer feeling of rage Taravangian experiences is so satisfying as he realizes that Dalinar may have died, but ultimately got the last laugh.
