We know the Windrunners and Skybreakers had a rivalry, but what about outside of them?

Here are some of my headcanons:

Bondsmiths and Elsecallers liked eachother to do both often being leaders

Windrunners and Stonewards were good friends due to sharing similar ideals

Dustbringers were disliked by everyone except Skybreakers and Elsecallers

Truthwatchers and Lightweavers were generally close orders

Personally I think Skybreakers would be split off from all the orders because (WaT)

Spoiler

They spren and people say oaths separately instead of together like other orders, and the spren/human can leave the bond without the spren being a deadeye and all.

And Dustbringers seem to be very dangerous (especially as seen in WaT) so I think the other orders might be a bit wary of them, so I agree with that, though I wonder why you said Elsecallers wouldn't mind them?

I think Elsecallers and Lightweavers might be friends, because they're both Soulcasting orders; and maybe Truthwatchers and Lightweavers would be friends, because Lightweavers' oaths (mainly Shallan's) revolve around truth, and, you know, truthwatchers.

I don't know if anyone else has any other evidence of other orders being nice/against other orders but feel free to call me out if I'm wrong about any of these.

There is a pretty bad rilvalry between Skybreakers and Windrunners, due to their differing approaches to being lawful or good and all that.

What I'm more surprised by is the lack of any mention of the relationship between Skybreakers and Willshapers, because that sounds even worse with the Willshapers advocating freedom above all else. Surely the Skybreakers, at least the modern extremist ones, would view Willshapers as good-for-nothing anarchists.

I said Elsecallers wouldn't mind them because both focus on self mastery, perhaps the Elsecallers would be understanding of the Dustbringers

I'm a Willshaper and my brother is a Skybreaker. We get along. But we also dont get along at all sometimes. At his worst, he would definitely consider me a good-for-nothing anarchist. And I would consider him a [redacted] [redacted] [redacted]. We just try to focus on what we do have in common, like letting people's decisions determine their outcome.

I also feel like, in general, most Orders would look at the Skybreakers like Military Police/Internal Affairs so, not very favorably.

I think there’s a lot of overlap between The Edgedancers remembering people and the bondsmiths drawing people together. That, and edgedancers are really useful, so I can imagine that any given bondsmith would love a squad of edgedancers on call

I imagine Edgedancers and Windrunners getting along beautifully, their oaths and powers are wonderfully complementary. They have a shared dedication to the helpless, the desire to preserve life and make it better for others. Together they make an absolutely ideal rescue operation; spren who can scout invisibly, warriors who can get anywhere, healers who can slip through an active war zone, Gravitation and Abrasion to surpass any obstacle, Regrowth to aid the wounded. They are both Orders who strive to look out for everyone, even the enemy, and people with that special, reckless compassion can understand each other.

I'd like to think that most of the Radiants weren't superstitious farmers and that after a while, and figuring out what their oaths were about, they wouldn't dislike all Dustbringers.

The unoathed weren't around back then.
