  1. Welcome to the Shard! So you've read everything? Including all the obscure non-cosmere short stories? Well then, if you could invite any 6 Sanderson characters to a party, who would you invite?
  2. Marna went over the simple rules again in her head. This storms-cursed planet would have her killed if she forgot them at any point. ... Marna did not feel like CD was acting out of the ordinary in any way. Her brother had known one of CD's associates and they acted virtually the exact same. So either CD was an ordinary homesteader, or he is completely unaffected at being an undercover constable. Or he's just really good at hiding stuff. I am leaning very slightly towards village for Coder, because he acts this way in like every single RP. So he is either village or extremely chill with being elim. Or maybe I'm going about this wrong and he would be more comfortable with being an elim than a villager. I'm inclined to say he probably isn't the Target though, as that puts pressure no matter what. Or Coder's tendency to begin RPs like this just overrides everything else and he would do this no matter the role. Which is the most likely scenario, so this didn't actually give much information.
  3. I approve of Spiritcalling. It is very interesting though maybe there could be a cost for the ancestors like decaying them a little, which requires worship to heal or something. This will basically be the centre of all Threnodite politics, with ancestors rewarding those who worship them and campaigning to steal attention away from their rivals. One could probably write a book set here. Edit: Now that I think about it more, I think it would be a better if you made it so that only Spiritcallers can access the ancestors, or make it something with very limited effects in normal people. This way, we'll get a similar thing to real Cosmere magic systems, where initially access to the magic is limited to a small minority, but then over time technology gives the average person more power.
  4. I ignore this strange dream and promptly become head of the PDC and the Solar Fleet. I also begin activating my Wallfacer Plan to ensure I keep the sandwich. This means constructing high-powered antennae aimed at Roshar's Star, as Roshar is where this is presumably happening (sort through all the pages if you want, but somewhere was a mention of Shadesmar and beads. Actually I remember it was @Uninteligenius setting up a popsicle stand).
  5. I become the Wallfacer and order you to give me the Sandwich.
  6. Marna walked slowly through the Forests of Hell. Shades could be seen in every direction. She carried with her a silver knife, just in case. She made eye contact with one of the Shades. The Shade looked back at her. There were times when she felt like the Shades were more intelligent than they appeared to be. This was one of those times. She felt as if she could see something behind those lifeless eyes... Taxes, taxes, taxes. She was not going to pay taxes. The Constabulary must be sacrificed. For once, the Shades were actually useful. She, however, had no idea who the constables were. She decided that she would wait to see how the day unfolded. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I will be unreachable for the next ~10 hours.
  7. So. It's very slow. Makes everything very difficult for me. Once, I was explaining a maths problem to someone (not Orange). They were like, "Why'd you pick this number?" Then I'm like, "I just chose a arbitrary number," And they're like, "What's arbitrary?" And the problem was like 56/4 or something This is when I when both of us were 12 years old!
  8. I engineer a sophon 'Tis a sentient proton. RAFO.
  9. Plot twist: I have two livers, since I incorporated @ChipsAHoid's. So I still have 1 that functions. I steal your thymus.
  10. Might have to do with the fact that the Victorian Curriculum is very slow. People my age aren't even expected to know what exquisite means
  11. I distort the sound so it sounds very unpolite.
  12. I'm telling him to start with Skyward because he won't understand Mistborn. He just doesn't have the skills to understand stuff like what aristocracy means nor the skills to infer what it means.
  13. I intend on getting him to play M:tDBG. Please, later. Cosmere first. I'm not even convinced he'll check his account . I'll make him, eventually. He also claims he is going to read Skyward. I said that he must finish it in a week, which is far more than enough time for someone like him who sits around playing video games all day. He asked for more time, so I reluctantly gave him the school holidays. Which, in Victoria, begins tomorrow and ends in 2 weeks. And I'm telling him to read Skyward because he's not a reader and wouldn't understand the Cosmere even if he tried. If he does read Skyward, we'll be fine. If he doesn't...
  14. They get all. All that they wish to bring. Actually, I'm changing that. I will tell the others on that tile, and then they can choose to keep a fraction of resources from that tile, up to resources/playerOnThatTile.
  15. Hmmm...

    _____ the ___

    Ookla?

    1. CoderDrag0n8

      CoderDrag0n8

      No, ■■■■■ the ■■■

      Its an eldritch god.

  16. I'm not new. But @oragne is, and he doesn't want to introduce himself, so I will. He has not read anything Sanderson, and is not even a reader. A crime, I know. He joined the Shard because I told him to. I need all your help to actually convince him to read stuff, because what worked with @LordHathsin_Surviv0r isn't working with him.
