The issue with this, though, is that I would take the normal length of time, excluding the mental speed enhancement, for you to think this, the bendalloy wouldn't actually speed your thinking up for you, only how fast you think compared to other people's perception of time.

Entering Lift arc, where she goes farming and starts trying to grow a super food that is heavily invested and has a small profile. She uses towerlight to grow a lot of these plants and then just takes these with her wherever she goes and has a super investiture bank on her.

I feel this definitely could have been used in the Set, but it does seem overpowered. Maybe this is something that we will see more of in Era 3, although it would have a similar feel to Ethan trying to destroy the Entity, and struggling because it can just predict him too well

I was thinking along the same lines. This would imply that Taln is either better by pure swordsmanship or has some external source of power we don't yet know about. But likely, he was just the better soldier before he was appointed a herald.

I'm not doubting that at all; I'm just talking more about herald match-ups and their interesting powers. Agreed here, when first reading this section I honestly though that he would be able to hold more against the Koloss than he did. The issue with Miles is that you don't have to kill him in combat, just restrict him, then guillotine him because the blade is too wide to heal around. So in combat, yes, just as Wax found, he is too difficult to kill, but restricting him is another method, or trapping him until he runs out of gold.

But W&T wasn't so much about Kaladin growing. It was more about him teaching Szeth and Inner Reflections. The key point is how he continued to be strong (because he didn't really need to grow so much) instead of his 1 and 1/2 steps forward, 1 step backwards, previous arcs.

Ok yeah, probs by pure skill of the sword and unassisted physical strength. But I feel that Nale would match up pretty well, especially with the powers we saw in his fight vs. Szeth in the Temple (I can't remember which one, though). Nale's strength and speed were remarked to be incredible even by Kaladin, and Nale wasn't at full strength. But as their power currently stands, Nale would beat Taln, but at full strength, probs not. But I think that would be a great fight to see nonetheless.

I honestly think that the best moment was by far Kaladin becoming part of the Oathpact, which works perfectly for him with his inherent brokenness fitting in with the other Heralds' pain, and also when he held all the pain that Ishar and overcame it. Sorry, it's late, but would you agree this is a choice moment?
