    Quite a bit of theorising here, without much research, but I think that you could create a twinborn. If an Iron Feruchemist were stabbed with an Allomantic Iron spike, wouldn't the person become a Twinborn and also be a Compounder? If this did work, then how would they be able to compound, because Hemalurgic Allomancers don't burn their Allomantic metal, would they have to be spiked with more Hemalurgic Iron, or would they just be able to ingest more Iron?

    That is very interesting and haven't found that idea anywhere else. It does seems to make what Dalinar was talking about in command to the Splinters of Honour.

    Literally everyone who has ever read the Rithmatist fr. The issue with steel is similar to Miles and how he can't stop compounding gold and would like die or experience extreme withdrawal, and so if compounding steel you would likely get to the savant state https://coppermind.net/wiki/Savant and would always be faster than everyone else. Also its kinda overpowered and if you have no challenge when defeating bad guys then it gets lame and you gotta do a Megamind.

    Hmm, Do you know about how compounding works, because, with it you would only have to store a little bit of fortune and then compound it a lot. The issue here is when they steel push you away from them. I would imagine that in the majority of metalborn fights, it would be kinda difficult to touch someone, seeing as lots of the powers have good movement capabilities, and/or reflexes.

    I honestly think there are better applications as an iron Compounder. I feel steel is too overpowered anyways

    Yeah very true, but its also mainly about how the soul perceives the body, so if you take the head off the body and then take the head away, then that would definitely weaken if not destroy the soul's perception of its own wholeness.

    While Jezrien died, his soul was captured in the gemstone, and then later His Connection with Honour and the other Heralds was also destroyed, but it doesn't say anything about his powers from Ashyn. So the possibility still exists
