    Indeed The 2000s were a dark and desolate time I can’t understand why people have nostalgia for that decade The clothing looks like it was fished from a dumpster, all the humor in shows was centered around misogyny, the songs were soulless, the movies all had LOADS of skeevy camera shots, and the music videos were even worse than the movies

    Mm So there's a superhero team called the X-Men They're mutants born with their powers and were originally an allegory for the civil rights movement and then the queer rights movement The team leader is Scott Summer/Cyclops with kinetic vision (like laser vision but kinetic energy instead of heat) There's Hank McCoy/Beast, a scientist and philosopher There's Remi LaBeau/Gambit, a New Orleans thief with the power to manipulate kinetic energy (but he uses it like a projectile weapon not laser vision) Also many others but I already needed out too much
