So me and my full cosmere friend had a discussion about, 'What if Kaladin was never in SA?' or something to that effect. And it's pretty interesting. So, no Kaldin. Let's work our way from the end (this is how we talked about it). No Kaldin means Dalinar was never saved at the end of WoK so Sadeas likely took over the war camps and unified the Alethi. Most likely he crowned himself king and then would have gathered the armies and wiped out the Parshendi before Venli discovered stormform and stopped the Desolation from occurring. So, yeah. Odium's plans would have been foiled for untold years. However, as my friend said, no Kaldin also means that Amaram would have died, losing Sadeas one of his best, if not his best, military commander. (Other than himself). My friend said this would offset the power of Sadeas' army. I disagreed however and I'm interested as to what you all think.

Option 5: The trio? Kaladin, Shallan, AND Adolin? I don't personally agree with this (I did 4) but it definitely could have been a possibility.

Waymaker, Somewhat less high above the Alleycity, (He is supposed to be above the Garrison by the way) He needed to get down somewhere where he was not about to splat on the ground. Gunfire was likely not the best option but he didn't need the best. With an enormous effort of will he screwed himself up to 'port again.

Hello! I'm the newest Alleyverser. You can take a look at my character if you want, (It should be the latest on the character thread) and I've written a beginning scene to enter the episode Waymaker, Taldain Waymaker gritted his teeth as held his hand to his wounded leg. It burned with pain. Just...Need...Enough...Power! He heard the others running after, shouting and heard the sound of Awakened cloth rushing towards him. Nearly...There! He heard the cocking of a pistol, seconds behind him. There! And with a sickening feeling he teleported. Waymaker, Above The Alleycity "Woah!" He was suddenly high in the air, falling quickly. His powers let him determine that he was in the air above the Alleycity while his leg blazed from the sudden movement. Not the best place, but it would do, for now. The wind whipping past his face made it hard to think but as he strained his ears he thought he heard gunfire from below him. What is going on down there? He thought.

Thank you. This also fits in with why my character is actually in the Alleyverse (To heal up and hide) so I can say he's not going to leave for a long while.

*Sigh* Just had to rewrite the entire thing after accidentally deleting the draft. In the "I teleported your item scenario" Waymaker (my character) would not do that on impulse unless he had a grievance against that person. It could always be that it's harder to teleport an Invested item because of 'Cross Investiture Interference' or something like that. For concentration it's pretty hard and effort the equivalent of doing a long sprint. (Though it's easier for him to teleport himself) Would it be alright if I said my character had maybe been to the Alleyverse once or twice before and from there had gone on a long 'tour' of the Cosmere. (This would fit in with his time in the thieving group). Maybe some of them but they're mostly just like people you know from around. Waymaker is not one for friends.

Compounding because of the incredible amounts of power it gives. I actually have a theory that an iron compounder could create a black hole. Allomancy is very powerful, feruchemy is most useful and hemalurgy is not too evil E.g. dying mistings could give their steel burning to blind people so they can see.
