Well, I don't hate White Christmas on principle. Just the version with the annoying falsetto, and just when it gets stuck in my head and won't leave. Blue Christmas, though... I don't like that song. Nothing against Elvis, just the song.

Hmm, I've heard some Relient K that I've liked before. I'll check it out sometime. Though it should be noted that the post made an error: I don't hate every Christmas song, just ones starting with a color, and then only when they're stuck in my head forever.

Right now, as they're stuck in my head and my mom won't stop singing them, thereby putting them back in my head: I am of the opinion that every song titled "(Color) Christmas" should be burned, and then their ashes burned as well.

Just read a Mistborn dreamcast over at Tor. I was thoroughly ambivalent to most of their choices, with one major exception. I really, really need to see Ben Kingsley play an Inquisitor now.

So I finished Gemina last night. It's the sequel to Illuminae, one of my favorite books and the source of the creepy text in my sig. Anyways, I was still a few pages out from the end when I remarked to my mother that Illuminae's ending was perfect: not too much of a cliffhanger, but still left you yearning for the next book. I said that I hope this book ends just as satisfactorily. ...it didn't. I honestly don't know whether to laugh or to cry.

So... followers appear to have been totally wiped. Is this an actual thing, or am I hallucinating? @Chaos what's going on, I fear for my sanity here

Yes. I dunno; I actually've been thinking about one myself. For me, personally, I'd go for gold or tin. Based off of what Misting I'd want to be is how I chose.

Congrats, Kaymyth! Gotta admit, this is gonna take some getting used to. Also, in completely unrelated news, I've decided to go back to the Santhid eye profile pic. It was what I was using for the longest time, and (all love to Kestrel) I was craving a change from the one I was using before. So until I manage to get the one I want actually drawn up (heeeyyy, artist types... I might have a job for you. ) it's likely gonna stay like this for a while. Or not, because I'm indecisive as highstorms.
