A number of things, I guess. My parents had me talk to a counselor in elementary school, and the results came back as Asperger's. That's basically the only reason I have any idea what Asperger's is or that I have it. But now I can see why that's the case: communication issues, that sort of thing.

So. I, in my pre-Who excitement, was taking a look at BBC America's schedule for the week of DW season 9's premier. I noticed that they were doing a marathon of all of the previous seasons. Yay! But then I hit the beginning of the marathon (I was scrolling back from the 19th on the DirecTV guide) and realized something. They. Skipped. Nine.

Honestly, if we're all sort of wistfully wishing we could meet Sharders in real life, why don't we just do the next best thing and organize some Google Hangouts thingies like once a month or so

A funny thing happened: I was trying to read some smudged writing on my hand. It had washed off somewhat, so it was kind of hard to read. I thought it said "literacy pending."

On the subject of "Cupcakes" (which sounds pretty horrifying, if your reactions are anything to go by), do not. Under any circumstances, ever. Ever. Watch the remix of Pinkie Pie's "Smile" song. Just don't. Trust me. I got ~30 seconds in, thinking it was a harmless animation. I have never been so wrong in my life. I should have listened to Pinkie's advice from "Cutie Map" -- that smile was just too big to be real. It started off with a disclaimer: this song may cause extreme joy, rated M for Magnificent, and all that. True that, thought I. Then it cut to a semi-realistic animation. Not bad, thought I. Then the unmentionable happened. Sweet Celestia! thought I. Do a brony a favor and pass the brain bleach! (I actually mentioned this a while ago on the bad day board: I felt legit sick afterward. Moral of the story: pony grimdark: bad. This had been a PSA from an emotionally scarred teenager.

So, I've mentioned in a couple other places around the forums that I'm writing a couple of myths for two of my classes, Astronomy and Mythology. Aside from really really really hoping I get a good grade, I have decided to post them here, in all of their unedited glory for you to read. The first one, for Astronomy: The second, for Mythology: Comments? Criticism? Cupcakes? Tell me what I did right, what I did wrong, and which one was your favorite. Cheers!

So. I have to write another myth, this time for (gasp!) Mythology. And, um, it's due tomorrow. I do have a sort of vague outline, but I thought I'd run by y'all before putting the pen to paper. Attached is a photo of my pathetic "notes". Hopefully with that as a bit of framework we can make a workable idea. The myth has to be a page long, give or take a paragraph or so. My subject of choice is trees: maybe why they exist or why a certain type exists or something. Anyways, thanks in advance for any help you all can give.
