I think that while apple might not initially make it super connected, I believe in Brandon making it perfect. I think he will fight to perserve the connectedness.

I am very excited, and believe that you are right in that Nightblood wont hit as hard, but there are many SA readers who haven't read Warbreaker. They may see Warbreaker later as like an origin story for nightblood, or something.

It is still far bigger than any Harry Potter or LotR deal, we are just disapointed because the big corporation didn't want to commit to a HUGE franchise with a huge catalogue of books with no direct confirmation on whether or not they will make any money off of it. And while I agree the reporters should have checked their facts better, they are human, and they at least had the decency to tell us about it. While I am a little disapointed, I don't think it changes much. We have 2 scenarios, scenario 1: Mistborn is a hit. In this scenario, Apple is eager to buy the rest of the cosmere, and continues making all of the movies, regardless of if they already had the deal. Mistborn is a flop. We already had confirmation Apple was getting a SA TV show, so they would probably do that, and if it takes off, they do the above, albeit more wearily. But if both Mistborn & SA flop, (And Apple might just shut down SA if Mistborn flops) then with or without a full cosmere deal, we aren't getting the other cosmere films/TV Shows. I actually think that less of a commitment is better for both parties (If apple decides to drop it, Brandon still had the rights to the rest of the cosmere (albiet less popular books) and apple doesn't pay a bunch of money for a "bad" franchise)

We know that in begining of TFE, all allomancers were stronger, and any rioter or soother could mind control a kandra. So I believe maybe an early TFE rioter and nicroburst could possibly do it, but era 2 levels of power? Definitely not. A Nicrosil compounder (if f-nicrosil works how I think) could possibly get an era 2 rioter to that level, but I would agree it mostly be an option for a shard. Who knows, maybe less well seen, less bound shards do it a lot more. Or maybe they just haven't thought about it (shards only get their infinite information when they think about the problem)

He grabs the table the potted plant was on. He then runs and throws the table at the knight, and attempts to run past.

He took his fingers off. “I’m not gonna do it now, but that’s the plan.”

He put his nails on the chalkboard.

Kyle looked nervous at that, but hissed "It-It's complicated." A bit louder he said, "No, I have a plan," and he pulls out a chalkboard and brandishes his hand like a claw. "And my name's Kyle." Keep pretending, and maybe they will too. Adrenaline filled his veins as he thought through a plan.

The foster system boots you out when you turn 18. Kyle had too gather as many funds as he could to buy this plane ticket. He put all his belongings in a backpack, not that many. He promised himself One last chance. A trip. One last chance to convince me. One last chance to stop the feelings. After this trip, either way, I don’t feel them anymore. He decided to go. He didn’t want to leave, so he gave himself a chance. This world or this place. Kyle snapped back to reality. He removed his hand from his pocket. These people are pretending to like me, I’m pretending to be someone who deserves being liked. Maybe if I pretend a little harder, they’ll pretend a little longer. “I can distract him.” Kyle said, noticing the only exit. He moved his backpack in front of him, getting ready to get something out. Why did I bring these? It was one of the few things I owned. Whatever, it’ll be helpful.

Well, I just think what they could do with the God King and his raidiance would be very entertaining to see.
