Now, not all Primals accept this version of events. They think you all are evil doppelgangers bent on destroying the timeline. Why else, they reason, would strange creatures take our forms? I am part of the group that believes that you all are our past selves, and Latent is of the group that you all are Doppels." Oxy says.

    "Oh. You think that you, a mortal, can 'dissmiss' me? Adorable." Latent said this with a chilling anger. Jidah slowly feels her connection to the rift drifting away from her. she slowly felt he senses, her body drifting away. she then saw the most terrifying event of her life (not trying to godmod, but it is the end of the world) and it took all she could for her essence not to drift away. A strange voice said in her head: you can just let go. you could be free. let yourself be drawn in. accept the fate that this says you'll meet. we couldn't escape it, why could you? You will die. It is inevitable. Even if you pretend to still be an immortal, you, are, just, MORTAL.

She doesn't remember it, but she barely lived through the end of the timeline itself. That... sccared her. internally. "AND MY FRIEND HERE IS CURRENTLY THE ONLY REASON YOU ARE NOT DEAD RIGHT NOW! If I had my way, you would be seeing exactly what we saw. At... the end. That sort of sight disitegrates people. It did for most we saw..." Latent trailed off. seeming... contemplative.

    "There we go. That's good." Oxy said. "Oh. Is that ALL you can do? Oh no! I'm soOOOooo scared. Whatever will I do? Someone can- GASP -singe a single hair off my neck! That's soooo scary. You terrrrrify me. AaaaaaAAAAaaaah." Latent said sarcastically. Jidah feels a strange crumpling feeling in her chest like all of her emotions are warping and twisting. Whenever she feels emotions, she feels this strange, latent PAIN coursing through her. Almost like her very soul is twisted. It ends in just a moment, but it felt like it took years.

    "I am sorry about my friend. She is..." Oxy paused looking a Latent. "Confused. Yeah. And Lati? I am sincerely sorry about how my friend is acting. She doesn't mean it." He said looking intently at Latent. "Fiiiiiiiiiiine. Lati, I am sorry for calling you a 'doppel'." Latent said sarcasticly.

    "When is she going to get here? She pulled me back, so where IS she?" Oxy muttered. Then, a strange, short woman appears next to Oxy. "Oxy, why did y-" She stops in the middle of her sentence. She slowly turns her head towards Lati, staring her in the eyes. Almost like she knew exactly where Lati was. "Why would you bring me here?" She turns back to Oxy. "WHY DID YOU BRING ME TO THE DOPPELS!" She turns towards Lati with a menacing look. Oxy holds her back. "I've said it before and Ill say it again. THEY ARE NOT DOPPELS!" Oxy yells at her. "WELL? ARENT YOU SUPPOSED TO BE SOOOO GOOD AT IMMITATING US? WHERE'S YOUR ATTITUDE? HUH? EVERYONE KNOWS THAT I HAVE A 'TEMPER' SO WHERE IS IT? HUH? WE HAVE HALF A MIND TO STRIKE YOU ALL DOWN IN THE FIRST PLACE!" The woman yells at Lati. "Latent! LATENT, CALM DOWN! She is not a doppel. She is just like you at the... beginning. Don't scare her off. You and I both know the reason you were first called Latent." Oxy snaps. Latent rolls her eyes. "They are imitating us. Thats all they are. I don't care about hurting its feelings." "Latent! Didn't you finish your bubble? Werent they there too? Also, sorry about actually feeling hopeful about the END OF THE WORLD!" "No. They weren't. I don't know why they are here. The only one I found was a strange cloud agent plowing around. Our Bubbles were always the closest." Latent hesitates. "I still think they are Doppels, but whatever. I wont make a move on them. They are, after all, in your bubble." "Good. They have NO intention of being doppels. You will see." Oxy replied.

    Well, Shapers are like just... super powerful hyper shapeshifters that can extend to other things, not just themselves. Smokite is the Shaper's fundamental substance. And, yeah, Ive done a LOT of retcons. Like, A LOT. Also, shapers can create smokite at will. So it isn't as much of a matter of getting the luxite and mordite as figuring how they would combine. And the only way to create or use smokite is through shaping.
