    Ch 6 initial thoughts: I want to learn more about the difference between shaped and snapped Seems the room is the same, but made cleaner for the more important shapers. I would theorize that the snapped are the guinea pigs of society, but Whill got the same injection. Ch 7 initial Thoughts: Whoa so he has super unhearing that’s wild (or… whild I’m so funny) Maybe shaped aren’t as nice as we think. Or maybe he’s snapped now… he’s definitely in a less well furnished room, just like Jax was

    Ok first: He’s deaf. Because of how natural this was, I would recommend changing it to something like ‘it hit the floor, soundless. Whill winced. Right. I’m deaf’ anyway initial thoughts: Love the chapter shows he’s a prisoner how did Jax get to the secret compartment, shows snapped does not mean death

    Hmm okay okay initial thoughts: First, I thought that this was normal (because he didn’t have any other shaped to compare his experience to in the ceremony) but considering the man’s reaction, maybe not… Shaped are treated incredibly well, and that shows. But will he be treated worse than normal?

    Whoa okay initial thoughts: Love how you take the MCs main similarity to success and snatch it away, signifying a fall from prosperity. He will never be like the shaped, and since deaf people would struggle in society, we can only assume he is snapped. But he might be something else, and that is the mystery of it. the big reveal of ‘He was deaf’ hit really hard and well for me, that was super well done

    Ok initial thoughts: I like how you set up a similarity between our main character and the best option (good hearing) I like how you take what would have originally been assumed to be death, and added a twist (especially how people treat it as death, but it isn’t quite, giving the reader hope to save Jax)
