  1. So.

You all know about me, and my ongoing and constant obsession with ORV.

For those who don't, remind me to ask you a very important question later.

Anyway, most of you probably think 'oh its just a silly little thing he does, its a little quirk/gag'

Maybe some of you have read the first chapter, and think 'its a webnovel full of overused tropes, cliches, and is far too basic for my tastes'

Some of you have even started reading it, and decided to keep on going.

However, for those first 2 groups

ORV really did change my life.

It made me a fundamentally different person with a new outlook on the world

I might be a bit obsessive or cultish about it, but is just because i truly love it.

It has a lot of deep lessons that made me a more thoughtful person.

So, I beg of you, try it. If you picked it up, and decided it was too cliche or basic, then you just didn't read far enough. If you haven't touched it or dislike webnovels as a whole, just try it. If you truly do hate it (hopefully not for the constant spelling errors, it was translated from korean, give the translators some slack, it is 551 chapters, alright?) then fine.

But please. Just give it a try.

(TL;DR, it really does mean a lot to me, and it would also mean a lot to me if you tried to read it)

(and for all those people who dont believe books can change your life, https://www.17thshard.com/profile/66187-coderdrag0n8/?status=42306&type=status, cant go back on your word now :3)

Well, not completely one character. You learn a lot about the others, and the character development is very good.

And there is a fairly stark difference between the beginning of the book and the end. If starts out as a cliche self insert power fantasy, but if you actually decide to commit, it becomes a whole different story.

This is for a very specific reason that wouldn’t make a lot of sense before you finish the book. There are a few ‘plot holes’ that seem like oversights, and they all are resolved by the end.

      see thats the thing

I'm busy, I have a real life outside of the Shard (shocking, ik) and thats why I'm not very active rn. Unfortunately, you can't ask me to read 6300 pages of a webnovel, if the beginning isn't enticing
