    Oh heck yeah. All my homebrew settings are heavily inspired by other stories. The only thing original about my main homebrew setting is how many different books/fandoms have been crammed in there. Heck, just last session my party went from talking to the witch queen, Riina, to facing the bosses of the gnome mafia, the Mario brothers, and they were hauled there by the enforces Snap, Crackle, and Pop. Lol. Good on you for adapting to keep him in the table.

    Oof. Im sorry. *hug* My methods for dealing with that are usually physical activity or loud complex music (I listen to a blend of Vivaldi and heavy metal/rock) or talking with people, reading a book, just generally cramming as much stuff into what I'm doing at once till I feel normal again. But yeah the understimulation fricken sucks.

    So I have also heard it pronounced both ways, if you pronounce it ess-ay it often sounds too similar to the similarly pronounced assay, which is pronounced ass-ay. So I say ess-ay to avoid confusion. Nimona reference!?

    Yeah that's a fair point, and I shared the meme mostly just as that, a meme, and because I like the word in general. Also yeah Kyojuro Rengoku is hot (pun intended)
