    Kaiden, The Mistwarrens, the air above the street The stranger's weapon spouted forth another projectile, which cracked against Kai's shardplate. Skye appeared from Mist beside him. "Damnation. That man is determined. Where are you planning on going?" Kai hovered out above the street, ignoring his spren for a moment. "I got this storming plate 5 minutes ago! I'm not exactly use to it!" Kai sighed. "Will you at least tell me where we are!?"

    Kaiden, The Mistwarrens, the street "Look. I have no desire to argue this with you. I am new to the war, it's only been a few months! Just, leave me be and I will leave you alone as well, ok!?" Kai summoned his armor and lashed himself up and back, moving away from this strange hostile man.

    Kaiden, The Mistwarrens, the street Kai glared at this short man before him "The Skybreakers fight against us! They have betrayed the Radiants! Don't you dare compare me to them. I never fought on the plains, only against the Singers and Fused who serve Odium. I am a Windrunner! I protect! I don't want to kill! So please, back down and leave me be!"

    Kaiden, The Mistwarrens, the street Kai held his ground, "Um, as in me being human? Or me being Alethi? Or me being Radiant?" the man was holding a knife in his hasnd, somewhat hidden close to his side. "I don't want any trouble." "...Kai. He is trying to kill you." "I have a sharblade. He probably is just angry and needs help."

    Kaiden, The Mistwarrens, the street "Ok. Um. Why are you attacking me?" "Kai! This is not the sort of person you talk things over with!" "He doesn't look like a soldier. We might be fine." He kept his sword raised anyway.

    Kaiden, The Mistwarrens, the street "Oooookay. Crazy guy. I would recommend summoning that armor now." storm him. Kai had forgotten about the armor. The windspren were there suddenly, unbidden. Not armor yet, but there. He felt... chagrin from them? "Oh! Nevermind, they're here now. Wow, they're new to this." The stanger's stick spewed more smoke out and a bit of flame. Something flew out towards him, but stopped at his armorspren right in front of him, cracks appearing in the air then fading. "I don't mean you any harm! Can we talk this over?" Kai ignored his spren's monologue, holding his sword out in vinestance.

    Kaiden, The Mistwarrens, the street Kai felt a sudden sharp shock in his back as a blow sent him staggering forward. "Storms! Kai, Behind you!" Kai spun to face his assalent, summoning his blade as his wound healed. "I had figured that out, Skye." "Well," she said in his mind, "with your observational skills, I had to be sure." Kai backed away from the stranger, who pointed some sort of stick at him leaking smoke. "Who are you!? What do you want!?"

    Anyone else have those conversations with people, where the nicest thing you can do at the end of the conversation is to put on a Hoid-like smile and say, "thank you for reminding me of the faith I have in humanity." And walking away so the foolishness doesn't infect you? That being asked, no, dear mother, I am not choosing to be dour this fine evening, I feel like chull dung, and that does not need to be attempted to be rectified by going to my humble chambers to, and I quoth, "think about my attitude, and change it." thank ye. I shall endeavor not to consider the hollowness of my soul at the preasent, without thine fine intervention.

    Kaiden, The Mistwarrens, Above the streets "I accept that there will be those I cannot protect." The words echoed in Kai's head as the glow of stormlight surrounded him. He grabbed Skye's arm as the vortex of stormlight started pullling him towards something. "Kai! What's happening?" Skye raised her arm to cover her face, her normal blue glow drowned out by the light sround them. "Storm me if I know, Skye." Something in the light popped, and they were yanked through. They were suddenly in the air, and falling. Kaiden lashed himself backward and up, trying to get his bearings. He was in the night sky over a city, unlike any he had seen before. The buildings weren't made of stone, and had windows on all sides. And while the streets were stone, they looked to be broken, many different pieces of stone making up the road. Before he could look further, Windspren swirled up around him, the same spren that had been following him earlier. "Ooh! You said it! You're gonna love this part!" Skye hovered next to him, full size and grinning. "What? What's so special about some windsp—" Kaiden cut off as the spren slammed into him, forming around him as armor. Glowing blue armor, transparent to him. Shardplate. Kaiden lashed himself down again, landing softly on the street. He looked around, his stormlight illuminating the nearby building. "Where are we, Skye?" "Storms if I know, Kai." She glanced over at him. "Better dismiss that armor: you're not used to it yet." "How?" Skye shrugged, glancing around the street. "I dunno. Try thinking at it." Kaiden asked his armor to go, and after a few tries the spren got it and popped back into windspren trailing around him. "Well, we'd better try and find someone who knows what's going on." He turned and strode down the street.

    I'll add a clarification to this: I am including titles under names, because other characters have used them interchangably as well (e.g. Wit is hoid's name and title, Warbreaker is part of Vasher's name and title,ect.) Nope.

    Ugh. I was having a nice day, things were going well, and suddnely, out of the blue like a rusting highstorm... DEPRESSION!! brain went, "ya know what, no. Just no. We aren't going to work the rest of today. We can't get anything of value done, so we aren't going to try. Why care?" I still have work to doooooooooooo! *sigh*
