*hugs* I don't know what advice to give, other than, maybe, tell her some of the things we say on here. That she's worth saving. Worth protecting. That she's amazing, but its easy to see the darkness in ourselves. The darkness in the world. Make sure she knows that stuff. Ver turned to him. He had heard the spectres of Eternity talk about things like "plot" and "ending" often, but he still didn't understand what they were talking about. It was time to find out. "On that topic, I think it's time for you to explain exactly what you mean by that. You claim to have a stake in our quest, but have offered very little information about your intentions. We thank you for your help against the Cloud, but we need to know we can trust you."

Ver nodded again. Outwardly, Ver didn’t say anything. Inwardly… But emotions are beautiful… they are incredible.

Ver nodded, still standing by the door awkwardly. He wasn't mad, just... overwhelmed. Although it made him happy to see his friends greet each other so enthusiastically. And it made him ache that he couldn't feel the same.

Ver stayed by the door, leaning against it as the others streamed past and began talking with her. "Hey, Jidah."

The summary I made: (I couldn’t figure out how to quote from another thread, so beat with me) Since then, Jidah got into a fight with Oxy and stormed off. A mysterious member of Jidah’s species (Keryx) showed up and took the party to his world to find Jidah.

Ver’s face blanked. He thought for a second about how to respond. ”A chariot is abox mortals use to get from place to place. And gravity is what makes stuff come down when you throw them up.” Ver thought for a second. ”Wait, Lati. If you don’t know this stuff, and don’t have memories, then how do you know how to speak?”

He turned back to her. ”Yeah?”

Ver couldn’t smile, but he felt a surge of happiness wash over him watching her. Almost like… pride. He turned back to Kelyx. ”May we see Jidah?” @Bird Furious

Ver looked in her general direction. ”Stars do move, Lati,” he said. This was something he was still sure about. “All cosmic bodies do. They are constantly shifting through space, an endless stream of gravity and momentum. But to us, it seems like they aren’t moving because we are moving with them. Like…” Ver tried to think of a mortal equivalent. “Like when you’re riding in a chariot, talking to someone. They don’t seem like they are moving, because you are moving together.”

Ver nodded. So the cookie he had placed on Jidah had been useful after all. Ver paused to look at her. ”Greetings. Who are you?”

Honestly, I also have a sorta-plan for the end of Cuz I’m Bored, but I don’t have any problems just letting stuff play out I’m also happy with the RP going on infinitely Cuz I’m Bored reference? You should come back I made a summary of the first hundred pages, so you should be able to pick it back up fairly easily

Ver felt self-conscious under the attention, and distracted himself by talking to Kelyx. ”Where are we going? And how did you find us in Açila in the first place?”

Once again, Ver reeled from the change, but adapted quickly. He looked around, intrigued. Despite this civilization - what were they called again? - being so developed, they still seemed to have a homeworld very similar to many mortal planets. ”Well,” Ver mused. “Now what?”

Uhh… okay. ”I swear, with the code inscribed upon my existence, to never willingly utilize offensive action upon your world except for in cases of self-defense only in self-defense, and to see Jidah’s divinity returned to the Pocket.” Ver extended his hand, and began to tremble a little as he released a piece of energy, similarly to how he had channeled energy into Jidah at the Rift.

Ver looked around, realizing he was the last one left. He stepped forward. The latter is probably the best, considering my entire existence could be classified as ‘supernatural’.

Ver jumped at the display of power, then jumped again. Wow. It seemed that in a controlled environment, such as this, these people were even more powerful than he had expected. It made sense now why the Cloud liked to keep other highly advanced civilizations a secret. It didn’t want its agents knowing it had competition.
