  1. What did I just watch That actually sounds kinda cool Although I’m not sure how useful it is in general life…
  2. What, “que mal”? It literally translates to “how bad”. Not something you’d drop in a normal conversation Like, “oh, you sprained your knee? How bad”
  3. I speak Spanish as a first language It is Although I personally wouldn't say something like "que mal"... it comes across to me as a little dismissive I'd say something like "eso duele" (that hurts) or "siento por ti" (I feel you)
  4. Hey! I kinda get that I was doubting whether or not I was aromantic for a while (still kinda am, but I’ve kinda decided it isn’t that important for me - because a label doesn’t change who I am) Never noticed that before… but dang, you’re right HAWKS Wait Is there lore I don’t know about?
  5. Hugs are given *squeeze* *solemnly looks down* Farewell, Mirker Your support on this thread has meant a lot. Not just to me, but to all of us. You helped me when I was going through s rough spot, and, well… I still have that problem. But I feel better. Thank you. *hugs* As will I I’d start to get a little worried if it were anything else and a mother figure
  6. Neither am I, though I’d hope it wouldn’t get that far

  12. "Okay..." For the sake of moving forward, Ver chose to accept that answer for now. "We," he gestured at himself and his companions, "come from a world known as Açila. There, an extremely advanced force known as the Cloud has taken residence and begun a process of Rebooting on the planet - a process that, if completed, will erase all signs of life on Açila. Our mission is to save what we can from that world, before it falls. But we need help. Of... he was willing to help us."
  13. Know what? I think I’ll sign up for now I was initially put off by the long time span and complicated rules (plus I’ve never played anything Zelda related) but K can give it a try if I have time to prepare Sign me up as Avery, Heroshi’s cousin
  14. Intuition is knowing ketchup is better than mayonnaise Intellect is searching for why ketchup was created in the first place Understanding is realizing that at the end of the day, all that matters is eating it with a good side of fries
  15. Hi So, I'm a little late to this, but I just wanted to address some of your points Personally, I did feel like Rhythm of War was a sort of drop in quality - in terms of pacing, character development, and more - from the rest of the series. But, to me, it was still a great book. And it got us where we needed to get for Wind and Truth, which is in my opinion an absolute literary masterpiece. I'm not gonna be one of those people that just suggest going ahead and finishing the series if you're going through a bad spot though: that's YOUR choice. So I want to kind of brief you on what is to come, spoiler free. In terms of pacing, I think Wind and Truth is a huge upgrade. There are no slow sections. However, if you really disliked the mental health-heavy aspect of Rhythm of War, you will only see more and more of that. Personally, I didn't have any problems with the villains in this book - other than Rayse. For it being his final entry, I would've like a lot more into his inner motivations - but I guess that deep dive was saved for Taravangian. Finally, I'm trying to give you the benefit of the doubt here, but your stance does seem quite negative and confrontational. I understand wanting to vent, but fansites like this should be places for peaceful discussion and debate, not unilateral hate posts.
  16. "Okay... slow down a little. What is the Drake-Son? What do you mean `your people`? Is Nergal a potential ally or an enemy?" As he spoke to Ctholis, Ver began to look around for Of. The being had been arguing with the Fox not long ago... where had he gone? Ver turned to look at him. Who was he? Ver... 209845... agent of the Cloud... "Remember those shadowy guys we fought in the caverns? That was the Cloud. I am - was - one of their agents. I left them because..." because I decided they were wrong. But... if they were wrong... what is right? And who am I now? Ver let the sentence trail off, lost in his thoughts and sensations.
  17. Ver considered for a second, before settling on the decision to trust Ctholis. The last hour had been spent arguing with divinities of all shapes and sizes. It was time to try something different. ”I trust you,” Ver said. “Tell me more about Nergal and the Plague, and I’ll try to explain what’s going on to you. Have you ever heard of something called the Cloud?” Ver gave Elan a sideye. He still didn’t know much about the mysterious person; only that they had shown up right before the battle with the Cloud, and had traveled with the rest of the party to the Pocket.
  18. *squeeze* Hope you feel better soon! *crunches knuckles* It’s just me, the Dead Survivor, and the Destroyed god of Ruin now Make the first move
