  1. ... Whoops Really don't know how I forgot about Polly, when I was just talking about her Right now, I am getting somewhat odd vibes from TUO: This just seems kinda lazy. Although he is normally laid back... And I don't get his vote on Araris. Another thing I don't get is the sudden pile on BigBadBagsWorth: While I would've liked some more evidence from him, I wouldn't vote him. For now, my vote rests on TwinStorm as I try to get my info together to make a deeper analysis before rollover. Speaking of rollover: when exactly is it? I know it's at 7:00, but I think I might be in a different time zone, so for people in the right place, is it at the end of this hour or the next? Also: Courts? Anyone willing to open up about that?
  2. Sorry for the double post Current VC: KelsierApologist/Zyvoxid: (1) TwinStorm IcedOutPenguin/___________: (1) Araris Valerian Hoid Slayer/Ekkar Loral: (1) BigBadBagsworth Doc12/Evi: (1) ThatOneWorldHopper Amanuensis/Kosm: (1) Doc12 Araris Valerian/Arlun: (1) IcedOutPenguin TwinStorm/Matrim: (2) Hoid, Aman People who have voted: @TwinStorm@Araris Valerian@BigBadBagsworth@ThatOneWorldhopper@Doc12@IcedOutPenguin@Amanuensis Would love to sort this by level of participation, but my bus is approaching school, so maybe someone else has the time. People who have shown up and not voted: @KaladinsSenseOfHumorSpren@CoderDrag0n8 - technically he voted, but it didn’t last long @The Unknown Hammerer@xxGaea@Doc12 People who haven’t shown up at all: No one! Ekkar Loral was uncertain. It seemed he was uncertain a lot recently. He had awaited a message from Evinir, but no message came. And so he asked himself: what would Evinir do? Would Evinir really wait around for orders? Or would he act? Slowly, convicted, Ekkar stood up from the table where he had ate, and began to walk towards his duties. To attend his goddess in her final hours. Ekkar would be busy; his participation in the discussion, limited. But he would not waste any more time.
  3. So you weren’t fully aware of the situation and current pressure on Polly? On another note: Would it be useful to know the Courts of players? I’ve already revealed mine, but everyone else has been kinda silent on this, despite the fact I don’t see it as anything with any benefit hiding to the Village
  4. Absolutely I feel like its generally an easy move for elims to vote on someone who is already carrying the brunt of the attack This is because elims in general tend to not care who gets exed, as long as it isn't one of them. The easiest way to do this is to back up a train on a Villager with the most votes, in an attempt to simply take them out. Additionally, I feel like Villagers in general should, at least, try harder to recover as much information as possible (especially early in the game like now) and a vote on someone who is already pressured with the most doesn't quite do that in any meaningful way. The other meaningful possibility to consider is that TwinStorm is intentionally trying to distance himself from Polly The only reasons I see for v!TwinStorm to make this move are if he didn't realize the amount of votes on Polly, chose randomly without much care, or just really wanted to pressure Polly Either way, I don't think it's a good look for him @TwinStorm, what do you have to say about all this? I agree with this. And honestly, retaliatory or not, Penguin's vote worked beautifully, because it's generating all this discussion. I want to hear what you think about the current events, beyond this discussion. Well... most poke votes don't have any. My vote on Polly at the start didn't. Neither did your early vote on Penguin:
  5. I intended to post again earlier, but time got away from me and I've had a busy day Yup Normally, I wouldn't take a vote off someone until they've had a chance to react to it - as that's kinda the point of a poke in the first place Btw, I'm also keeping an eye on you for this, although you're reading Village so far Personally, I don't love Aman backing me up here - especially when Polly hasn't spoken yet. Although it's possible that since I used a different name, Aman didn't pick up on that Plus based off Aman's later behavior (breaking the tie to pile Penguin, even if I don't see anything quite weird with Penguin's actions - I see where they're coming from) they're reading Village to me for now Appreciate Gaea sharing the VC here. It's a simple, but generally Village coded, answer I don't appreciate the lack of a vote as much, but everyone's got different styles This statement by Araris I found a little odd, as pretty much everything that's been going on thus far has been light accusations with little to no evidence behind them. Nothing really serious, though ALTHOUGH, I kinda do like this justification Right... but how to know what is right when the line between what is known and what is lies is so blurred? Every act is a step in the dark, and who is to say yours is any more guided than another's? And we get MORE Polly votes TwinStorm, this seems an awful lot like you're tagging on someone who's already facing pressure - and I don't like it, even if it's a bit blatant for an elim Thank you for the notes - hope you don't mind if I keep them for when I finally get around to taking my own This reads Village to me, both with the playful RPing and analysis Ekkar paced back and forth in the courtyard, sweat streaming down his brow. It was halfway through the day, yet he struggled to engage the fellow members of his court in decisive action. The makings of a plan were forming in his head - but he could not worry about them now. While he had first chosen to lobby an accusation at Zyvoxid due to a resemblance to an old enemy (frenemy?) of Evinir's, Matrim's unusual behavior had dragged his attention away. And since that act, Matrim had failed to make another comment - so perhaps it was time to pile the pressure. Ekkar had chosen to trust Kosm, Evi, and Leucosia for now - although it would be nice if Leucosia could offer some solid thoughts now that more action had transpired, and the clock ticked. Ekkar intended to take time to formulate his own thoughts later, but with a busy schedule, he was worried about his availability - especially in such a time of crisis. Arlun was apparently a cute, cuddly stuffed bear. And Evinir still had not responded. Forgot to ask - @A Jo in the Bush, when a person is exed, is their Court revealed?
  6. Ekkar Loral was worried. For six years now, he had faithfully served as one of Elsecaller's closest priests. Yet now, he was suddenly forced to face the irrefutable fact that his goddess was dying. And it frightened him. Ekkar had already contacted Evinir, but the man hadn't yet responded to him. The anticipation itched on Ekkar's nerves, slowly tearing away from him as he paced in the courtyard, awaiting the other priests. Awaiting answers. Zyvoxid Linezolid

  10. Nope This character is Alethi
  11. *clears throat* *thinks* Okay This character has been to Roshar
  12. Alright, thanks Yeah, that’d be a struggle for me too Either way, I can design the game and just change the timekeeping when it comes to that Huh… I hadn’t thought about that I guess we’ll see how it works out
  13. Yeah… Does it have to be 48 hours per cycle? How weird would 36 hour cycles be? I guess I’ll just have to keep working on it It would be great as an LG, but it’ll be forever before I get to run one of those
  14. Roughly how long is an MR? I’m thinking of running a game based around the Ten Final Days, but I’m unsure how to make that time frame work 24 hour cycles seem too short, but I don’t want to drag too long
  15. QF76 reference? I'll take it Plus, I already established Evinir was back on Nalthis in QF76... Nine years ago... Ekkar had a secret. He wasn't like the other priests. Yes, he served the gods, and he served them well. But he was different. It wasn't just his youth; there was something else. He had grown to hide it, over the years, fooled his own mind, by his parents' constant reminders, fear in their eyes, words on their lips. Murmurs, whispering a single message. "You cannot be Idrian." And yet, Ekkar knew his heritage. He had never been to Idris, nor spoken to many Idrians. So he couldn't explain why the inner conflict tore him apart on the inside. It had pushed him to extremes in his past, caused him much sorrow and regret. It was a question he had tried to answer first with his studies, and now with faith. Because at heart, Ekkar Loral didn't know who the colors he was. Tonight, Ekkar was in mourning. Years ago, at a time when he was at his worst, Ekkar had met a man who had tried to help him to find the answers. Despite having only spoken in person a couple times, Ekkar had felt a bond with Evinir. The older man had been brash, confident, even arrogant at times. But he had known exactly who he was. Evinir had been a lifeline. Then came that night, a year ago today, when conflict had erupted in Idris. Ekkar didn't know much; only that Evinir had fought bravely, was incarcerated, and then... disappeared. He was presumed dead. The news had shattered Ekkar. Lost, he had rejected the Cause and joined the priestdom at the lowest level. And had begun to climb. Slowly, Ekkar dampened the candle next to him, leaving only a single flame to illuminate the small shrine in his quarters. He sighed, eyes lingering on a scrap of paper - the first note Evinir had wrote him back, all those years ago - after nearly a dozen of Ekkar's. The memory brought a wistful smile to his lips. It faded quickly. Resigned, Ekkar leaned over to dampen the final candle... before he was interrupted by a familiar voice. "Quite the visionary, wasn't he?" Ekkar gasped. No... it couldn't be... slowly, he turned around, wary of what he would see. A tall, lanky man, with dark hair and a new glint in his gaze. Ekkar's eyes widened. In the shadows, Evinir Cragborn smiled. Signing up as Ekkar Loral, an Evinir fanboy - and contact in the priestdom!
