  1. "You know him?" You hear the Emperor speak in your head.
  2. "You use Narration to rewrite history, huh?" The Emperor shakes his head. "We can talk civilly. As soon as you apologize for insulting me. Or your 'Scribe' can get a new messenger."
  3. The Emperor stands there in front of you, his sword resting against the side of his leg. He shakes his head in disappointment. "Stubborn Twat." He says between his teeth, yet he still holds his regal appearance and even stands up straighter, forcing you to look up at him. "I don't wish to stain this room." He continues to shake his head softly and frowns, almost mournfully. Suddenly he grabs Sain's arm and instantly, the both of them are transported to a different place. You look around at what seems to be a cellar of sorts, a candle set on a table next to you. The dim lighting around you only allows you to see tankards and barrels of fine wine on shelves around you shaking slightly as the waves of newfound energy emanating from the Emperor pushes and pulls like waves in the ocean. It hurts. It throbs like a piercing headache all throughout your body. You finally realize that you are sitting in a wooden chair. The room is silent other than the waves of energy crashing against your body. It almost feels like a bloodlust, though it is a regretful bloodlust. The Emperor steps into the light. He doesn't speak. And without warning he grabs you by the hair and with his other hand punches you in the gut causing you to cough up blood. He stares at you with no emotion. "Don't bother trying to escaping. Those are dimensional shackles." He says nodding at your hands, which are bound with golden shackles. They give off a soft, blue glow. He punches again and you hear a sickening crack. "Let that be a lesson to you." He says grabbing your arm again and transporting both of you back to the conference room, and unshackling you. You realize that your bones feel fine again, but you still have phantom pain, an echo left to remind you. "Go back to your 'Scribe' Sain. And tell them to send someone who can hold their tongue." "I welcome a challenge for those who want to join me in allyship." He says. "And you. You are not welcome here." before you can react, he flicks your chest and you feel as though your body is turning inside out as you instantly warp to the same plane as the Scribe.
  4. He stares with his golden eyes, they swirl around like a liquid, like a molten river of gold. "Only internal conflict is quiet my friend. You asked about the Maelstrom?" He says. "The Maelstrom is a prison realm, sealed by my own hand. It imprisons the Gods of Maelstrom, Gods of Madness, Ruin, and Pure Chaos. It has been many millennia since I trapped them there. And as time goes on, the seal slowly wanes in power. I am unable to strengthen the seal, due to the limited power that I have now. Tis a Burden to know the horrors that will inevitably unleash their wrath upon the planes. But I have my armies march the stable planes for worthy soldiers as we speak. With allies, I do believe, there is a possibility of victory." He holds his open hand forward and a pure white sheathe with golden designs and trim begins to materialize within his hand. A golden great sword hilt appears at the top of the sheathe. The pommel has an amethyst embedded in it. He turns it horizontally letting it rest in both hands. "This," He speaks breaking the silence and he begins to walk to you. "Was a gift from the Celestial Gods. along with it they gifted me authority, the blessing of the clear mind, and another power beyond the understanding of the common man's mind. Narration." He brings his voice low and puts his face close. "I didn't give a second thought to whether or not I could keep you from intruding. I see your power. Your eyes. Your soul. They give off a feeling of need. Of want. The want of striking fear, to control situations. To control others feelings." His eyes are stern, like a father disciplining a misbehaving child. "I will warn you once more. Your words decide whether you create an alliance, or an enemy. If I were the Scribe, I would've chosen to send a messenger who is able to keep his tongue. Let's see if he chose right." He steps away and walks to his spot at the front of the table. "Let's try this again." He says taking a seat. He holds his hand outward to the place where the chair was decimated. There, from the dust, it is being reconstructed. "Once you've sat down, we may have a nice little chat." He smiles at you and then looks at the rest of the occupants in the room. "You may leave for now." He tells them. They begin to shuffle out of the room, the last few scuffles of their feet echoing in the large chamber. The door closes. And then Silence. The Emperor turns his eyes to you, waiting expectantly.
  5. The Emperor shakes his head and getting up from his chair, a hint of a smile on his lips. "If I am so ignorant, then enlighten me as to why you are here. And then, maybe, I will answer your question." he says turning his back to you and moving to a candelabra on a nearby altar and snuffing out each candle, and muttering to himself a prayer for each flame gone out. The rest of the occupants in the room gasp lightly at this act. Very reverently he places the candelabra down and turns back around to you. His expression has changed from annoyed, to calm. A calm so quiet that it almost hurts. "I apologize for my previous outburst." He says. "I ask you to also not make any rash decisions while you are here. You are the one intruding on my conference and I am allowing it. For now, that is. Do not take advantage of me and my generosity." He smiles. "Now. tell me please. Why are you here?" I would like to direct you to the link in my signature. Unless you don't have signatures on. Here's the link: The Emperor
  6. Also, you weren't there for it, but Sylas and Lady Bug had a conversation about the Emperor having Sylas go on a colonization expedition as a mercenary.
  7. Maybe it would help to check my recent activity on my profile. I've only been talking about the Emperor on TLT today.
  8. @Ookla the Irreplaceable (Trellin) I hear that the Emperor wants to talk to you. he is inviting you to a conference onboard his astral voyaging ship (The Celestial's Call).
  9. He looks at you with disgust. "Why should I give such answers when you insult me like this." He stares at the constructed seat he had made for you and then glances towards your Strand chair, shaking his head.
  10. Full Title: The Emperor, Kahmir, Bearer of the Golden Right, Holder of the Planar Throne. The Emperor is a man of ascension. He had started his journey to where he is now, from when he was a soldier for the Aegis of Celestia (A faction that were zealots for their Gods of the higher planes). The Emperor, once a humble servant of the Celestial Gods, began rapidly rising the ranks of the Aegis of Celestia. As he rose in the ranks, he started to become noticed by the Council of the Golden Right (The council of the Celestial Gods' representatives). Eventually, the council brought him in. They saw how loyal and devoted he was. He went on to prove himself to be a valuable subject within the eyes of the Celestial Gods. Though, things changed fast for the Emperor. As the Celestial Gods became more invested in the Emperor, this gave opportunity for the Gods of Maelstrom (Gods of pure chaos, ruin, and destruction) to rise in power. They started what became later known as The Great War of the Chasm. This war was known as one of the greatest carnages known to the plane of Minokai (The home realm of the Emperor). During the Great War of the Chasm, Minokai was destroyed. Though many were lost in the battle, the Aegis of Celestia was victorious. In an act of vengeance, the Emperor channeled the power of the Celestial Gods to seal the Gods of Maelstrom in a prison realm. With no home to return to, the Celestial Gods rewarded the Emperor with their power and soul force, gifting him with several things. First of these gifts was the power of Narration, the second, the gift of awareness to his actions to keep him from being a Narrator of chaos, and the third being a bastard sword that was given the name, Solstice Dawnblade crafted in the forges of Celestia by Mox, the God of the Forge. Some worship the Emperor to this day as a God, because of the Celestial Gods taking him under their wing and giving him place as one of their own. This power however, didn't go to his head. He still is the humble servant he once was before his ascension, though he is a commanding leader of warfare and protection. As several millennia went on, he began to create advancements in technology, war tactics, and many more things. But as the time goes on, the seal of Maelstrom wanes in power and the Emperor prepares for a war of ages. Currently, the Emperor is going through the many planes to find worthy warriors to aid in this battle. He only prays that the realms are prepared for what is to come.
  11. He had his introduction earlier today. but you're fine for not catching it cause it's buried pretty deep. (Been a lot of posts today.) Here's the original post if you want: The Emperor lets out a sigh. "Take a seat." He more says this as a command rather than an invitation. He nods to the far end of the table where you see, from thin air, a chair is being constructed for you. "Then, once you have settled, you may tell me your business here."
  12. There's a lot of people trying to interact with the Emperor. Not what I expected. lol. Do you mind letting me complete another story plot before your character(s) interact with the Emperor?
  13. Kahmir grasps the note as it falls and gives you a dead stare before examining it.
  14. "Bloody!" The guard exclaims pulling back. The guard looks up. "What else do I do with it then?" He asks angrily.
  15. The guards stand in confusion at the sword. Eventually one of them reaches for it.
  16. They laugh. "Who might you be, and what business do you have with the Emperor that would 'help' so to speak?" One of the guards asks.
  17. You appear in what seems like a conference room within a noble court. The stained glass windows shine in light from the surrounding cosmos. You realize you are on an aircraft traveling through the astral sea. The room lit by golden chandeliers and the room is ornamented with golden trim along most all of the architecture. The room is almost like being in the higher planes with the marble floor and white quartzite pillars. In the middle of the room is a long table surrounded by what looks to be very important people around a room and at the head of the table is The Emperor. Kahmir sighs and looks to someone at his side. "Bloody-," His authoritative voice sounds calm and soothing. "Gramdon, I thought you said that the room was unable to be intruded upon." He looks at the man distastefully and shakes his head. There appears to be guards in front of the door and they let you know that the Emperor is not currently there.
  18. The name has officially been changed to The Maelstrom. If you want to check, I have edited the original post.
  19. "Well then we can change the name" Says the attorney for the defendant.
  20. The Song of War begins to sound. The Emperor, Kahmir Bearer of the Golden Right, Holder of the Planar Throne, is present. All are aware. The Emperor Sends his army to march through the planes, Seeking those who are worthy, to fight in the War against the The Maelstrom. (The Maelstrom is a plane of complete chaos and destruction. Think Limbo from D&D.) The marching is heard throughout all of the Planes.
