So the in world explanation for this, is that if rocks fall on him the helmet protects him [cuz it’s a helmet, that’s not what the item dose] and his weak armor can activate boosting his speed, also if he gets attacked the helmet dose damage back to the attacker) Anything else: He’s studied lots of Pokémon history and is pretty smart, but he is very irresponsible
