  1. “And have you come across the ‘villain stuck in prison’ or ‘villain with nullified (not Nullified) powers’ tropes?”
  2. “Plot armor only goes so far. Are you familiar with Tropes inherent in villains? I believe it may help me in that manner.”
  3. Oh yea deffa “Are you sure? Do you truly understand it?”
  4. “I don’t particularly want to take chances. Parasite would be my best defense against you if you did.” No Rebus is just the type to get what he wants.
  5. “See, that’s the thing. Once you get Antagonist, will you still be trying to lose?”
  6. “I think that if you knew the magnitude of their power, you would. But you haven’t seen the third - only vaguely interacted with it.”
  7. …See, you assume I could have done this stuff. I’m kinda tired of all these assumptions. Like the assumption that you can return home. Someone, named Fear, destroyed it. I do not believe I will sway you. Someone else will do that.
  8. Fine. That will come after I take it, then. Before, then: Rella stepped up to the power, peering within. A fragment of divinity… preferably her fragment of divinity.
  9. You seek to explain it. You believe that I had complete dominion over my power. But I do not. Do you not believe I have tried to seal myself away? It was for that purpose that I took the Slumber upon myself. If I do nothing, my power does something. It reaches out, gives blessings, creates conflict. DON’T YOU UNDERSTAND? I. CAN. NOT. And so, I have two options - let my power lend itself to whoever it sees fit to, or take action in the ways I best see fit. And besides - I no longer own my power. It seems a mortal broke reality.
  10. And so passes the Third Age of Ambition, as detailed within these pages, named simply the Records: Listen thou carefully to the words inscribed upon these plates. Upon my Ascension, I saw immediately the great Task which had been ordained upon me. But lo, I also saw another fate, a fate great and terrible. And with my knowledge of this fate, I trembled. Mistake yourself not in believing that these fates were equal. For behold, when I speak of two fates, do not believe of yourself that these fates were singular. I saw but a single fate in which my wonderful purpose came to pass - but behold, I saw endless fates in which I let down my Ambitions, and died. And so, I stepped away from the world. I chose for myself a solitary world, a planet of my own making in the shape of my Mother-planet, Yolen. Upon these plates, I abandon my last thoughts of mortality, and took upon myself the title of Ambition, exalted above all.
  11. I pull you into the Dreamscape! Bolstered into the real world, I push @Doomslug the Arcane into the Dreamscape in order to contain the Tag Plague.
  12. Neigh, good slug. And by that neigh, I do indeed mean nay in that way which the horse-folk talk. How many horse-folk do you know?
  13. …They butchered me. With magic. I don’t think you understand. Magic doesn’t exist. Give anyone without ‘magic’ enough time, and they will develop things far surpassing reality. Look - I left them alone as much as I could. But my power sometimes acts independent of me. I do what I can to control it, but this is literally the power of pure Chaos. It’s what I made the world from, but it doesn’t really help “just leave them alone.”
  14. A heavy sigh. Last time I left the people alone, they butchered me and stole my power. Intellect did not actually want the power given him - he made the best of a bad situation.
  15. Rella stared at the other 16, licking her lips nervously. She burst forwards, claiming one…. It felt… right. It suited her. She took a breath and exhausted as she felt her consciousness expand, her awareness peak. He mind picked over the secrets of the universe she now held, the power so easily accessible. But… There was still more power to be held, wasn’t there? She glared at the others briefly, eye twitching, before disappearing.
  16. It’s where the very tall building is. We need to get a few things straight. Intellect was not a gibbering fool. Stop playing this facade of “denying the gods, bringing the common into the light, screw you people who are actively trying to save me!” Intellect made a mistake. I’m not even sure if I could call it that. But know that Joy and Agony died to Fear king before Intellect made that slight miscalculation. And I’ll have you know, he still succeeded. If you had done what you were supposed to, and just killed Fear INSTEAD OF THE PERSON HELPING YOU, things could have been mediated. But no. I had to step it, and one thing or another, this led to Aelorin getting the stupid notion in his head that KILLING ME will solve every problem that ever existed. So stop with this self-righteousness (laced with selfishness, I might add). It’s unbecoming. You’re useful, but I’m beginning to doubt if that surpasses this.
  17. It’s better that way! It offers a sense of unity.
  18. I, SpiritOfWrath, hereby declare allegiance to the OEHDS and its purpose for eradicating Hot Dog Stands.

  21. “Interesting. I don’t very much care. I’ll meddle here - if only to protect the Notblades.”
