I want to post my art but I don’t know that if I do AP will hunt me down saaaaad i made an illustration starring Madness, who was a TLT character most of em are about Pyk’s world like I have one album cover that would have been from a band he had heard of (The fictional album is Severance by the fictional band Eclipse) but it’s part of my Ap concentration about war about that trauma that Pyk went through except I’m saying “it’s about war, and the effect of war, and fun fact short side note this takes place in my own Worldbuilding” Like i don’t even know if my AP grader will realize I did any Worldbuilding at all -

SpoilerI think the entire novel takes place in the Spiritual Realm, as some sort of echo of a dead dragon’s mind (the dragon being the demon)
there are just too many things that break the established PR laws
like
time travel
and a single demon thing bleeding multiple rivers of blood
if not all SR, tho, at least some. Or it’s similar to what happened to Yumi

Okay chat, but I really like the transformation my side character has gone through. It's definitely offputting, and just satisfying as an author.
I'm of course talking about QIANGZHE!
If yall didn't read my chapters, he's the slightly awkward, slightly introverted cousin of the MC.
But you see that in one flashback, and there's this friendship implied, and then years pass. It takes like... five chapters before he's reintroduced, and this is many years into the future.
And he's presented as absolutely hating the MC. A bitter young man that acts twice as old as he is. And I think, when people read that, I'm going for "wait, what happened? this isn't Qiangzhe!"
and I feel really satisfied.

So Brandon was asked this in the convention today. I don't know if you were there (or maybe even the one to ask it ) [if so this answer is for em spectators], but it basically went along the lines of "does Hoid know about Brandon Sanderson". I think. Somehow the question came up. And he also specifically said that the "december" translation was basically just meant to tell the reader that she was named after a "month" in general. One parallel to ours, but not the same. He went into how similar things were found throughout his books, and how "Grandpa Tolkein" did the same thing with Sam, whose name is not actually Sam, just a name that had a very similar cultural place. He also brought up the jokes that Hoid makes - obviously, Alethi alliteration will not be the same as english, but Sanderson uses english alliteration to get the point across. Anyways, if you were there, cool! If not, oh well. Answer for you here ^^^ -
