  1. Yea I realized that even tho the Notblades were powerful, they didn’t really help here.
  2. The Notblades gasped as Bat’s emotions hurt. His pain transferred through the bond the Scribe had forged, shifting how they thought. It was a slow process, but Pain seemed to warp… perhaps it might change even more as time progressed.
  3. I know he’s gonna write a Rock short story…

  6. It. It is angry. Interesting. There is something it needs. And so, it sends clones out to every corner of the earth, searching for the singular fabled treasure outside of its reach. It will find it. The. Sandwich. It throws itself at whoever he the Sandwich @WhiteHairedDrifter, tearing at him and growing claws with which it slices at him, and a tentacle makes its way out of its stomach, curing ‘round and suffocating Whirte.

  14. Ok. In combat, the enemies will either attack, or block. You use card to block these attacks, attack back, or buff yourself up. Each point of block cancels one point of attack from the opponent. Your health stays constant throughout the encounters, so if you get hurt, you have to find a way to heal.
  15. Which is it? The basic mechanic of the game will be as such: You progress through multiple nodes on a map (dungeon-crawler style), powering up and fighting monstahs until ya get to the boss.
  16. Far away, Omal the Devourer was desperate. Not for power, no. To protect his people. By any means necessary. He noticed... an... oddity, in the crowd. They weren't... like the others. Not connected. And they carried such curious devices. They were dangerous, though. One did not get the sort of scars that they had from complacency. Tools, they could be. A solution to his problems. But... they approached him first. Curious. "Have you heard of the Machination?" One asked. They were rather blunt; it had nothing to do with laziness on the part of the Author. The Devourer hesitated. "No. But for that to have been possible... you must be powerful people indeed. A type of power I could use." "The Machination is always welcoming new... arrivals." The Devourer frowned, but as he was thinking, the crowd surged, and they seemingly... disappeared. He felt as if he could see wisps of black in their place.
