    The room shifted, and a copy of Gleye was holding the knife to the throat of a shadowy person in a chair.

    Afterimage swirled, some of his substance reaching out. An illusion of a nondescript room with a knife - held by a shadowy figure, followed. “How’s this working to jog that memory, Gleye?”

    Darkness flooded wherever they were. “No you don’t!”

    The figure freezes, glowing the same purple-blue as Afterimage. Afterimage laugh. “Yea. We keep a careful eye on this one. Somehow he learned of the Notblades.”

    The person says simply. “In. My. Way.” The Seeker leaps at him, and Afterimage watches carefully.

    Afterimage wonders when he had asked that. The person grinned. “They… they call me the Seeker…”

    “Sure!” Afterimage blurred, and a person, tied up - and gagged - in a chair appeared. The person was most definitely not illusory.
