The area around them shifted, and they appeared in what seemed to be a desert. A range of mountains rose in front of them. Pyk’s breath caught. He… he knew this place. Not the general area, this specific place. He inspected the sand below them. The majority of it was sand… but… some of it was ash.

He jetpacked-ed. So there.

Pyk nodded. He didn’t seem to register how short that trip was. ”I think we can Shift the rest of the way.” His armor activated, and he extended his hand to Asher.

Aelorin pulled a jet pack outside of his backpack. It had very sophisticated instructions which he hid very quickly.

COOOOL KOOOOL QOOOOL TOT <— goth person screaming. <— the mandatory explosion.

Aelorin nodded, going after the brainrotted scum.

Aelorin frowned at the button. It was a dud. Bother.

He nodded back. “Thank you.” The Scribe was bored, so suddenly, out of the window, they saw their destination.

*whispers* I think we need to move on without Haly or Glass Pyk looked out the window, and then at Asher. “Where we are going… it has a lot of bad memories associated with it.”

“It’s kinda part of your duties. If you are irritable, yes the change will be gradual, but everyone will be irritable.”

@Stormlightsong Tulen, new Hallandren, Chroma Street Tulen looked up. Bother. Someone had noticed them. He wondered why that didn’t bother him as much as it should as he took the prototype out of its case, one hand on the wheel. They swerved some more.

Okayokayokay sooo like (Background: Pyk was blind, and Asher had an angel and a demon invading her mind.) Bit before the 3000 party, Ahser and Pyk went about to stop a villain That kinda went to a standstill because they had to wait for the villain plotline to finish soooo yea While they were waiting, they made mechs and then witnessed the fall of an interstellar empire. And after that, they were trying to help the survivors. Thats when there was no plot left b4 the villain got out… After that, and more recently, they went on a journey ( a journey through time ) to the death help center to separate Asher from the peoples invading her mind. It was a trap, and they fell into heck, where Lucifer immediately started taunting Asher. Pyk fought Lucifer, and Ascended for a short time (his magic - the Adari in him aligned with the Twin, and so was kinda possessed) and almost won. Would have, if The Scribe didn’t unAscend him. After being unAscended (It a not descent!) Pyk was weak, at the mercy of Lucifer. Asher saved him, and they flew through the ceiling to Heaven, where they stayed shortly - Asher was separated from the demon and angel, and Pyk was rewarded with a return of his eyes. Pyk got a crystal letter telling him to meet someone at the Dragonlands, on his home planet. They tried to teleport there, but something stopped them, so they (hehehehe) hijacked a rocket ship. Soooo that is plot plot Romance plot is essentially they are trauma bonding. The last few posts on this topic are a good enough recap…
