  1. That sounds interesting, I would love to hear more. Also... DOUBLE POST!!!! CHAOS, THIS USER RIGHT HERE!!!!!!
  2. I'm sorry, but what exactly is a "derp clear"? I'm not sure what you mean by that.
  3. "Who controls the past controls the future. Who controls the present controls the past"
  4. That was caused by the merging of the shards specifically. A similar scale effect can be seen with the Catacendre.
  5. (3-9) Miss: Doc12 (1-3), Aman (1-3), Qian (1-3) (2-6) Mint: Doc12 (1-3), Aman (1-3), (2-6) Coco: Wahr (1-3), Qian (1-3) (2-6) Qian: Aman (1-3),Wahr (1-3), (1-3) Ink: Doc12 (1-3), (1-3) TUM: Aman (1-3), I see. Adding my suspicions, though I might change later. I’m still split on my last vote.
  6. That sounds fine. Plus, maybe an elim might slip. I would vary from +2 to -1 based on the vibes of the thread. I don’t totally understand how this list works? What does the (1-3) or the (2-6) mean?
  7. I really liked Skyward 1. I finished that series, but haven’t read any of the novellas (ex. Defending Elysium or something?) The Rithmatist was excellent, but I honestly don’t think a sequel is ever going to happen. Alcatraz is fun reading to kids, but I wouldn’t consider it a good book. WoT is awesome, but it’s not really Sanderson’s. I haven’t read Dark One, Infinity Blade, or all of Legion.
  8. I would like to sign up for a mr game. (I don’t have a final ruleset yet)
  9. Aradan Liese, Smokestacks Aradan watched as the spiked man lifted up into the sky on a coin. Rusts. So he could burn steel. Glancing over, he saw the prisoner running hard. She was clearly exhausted and using iron to boost her. Quickly, Aradan flared his pewter and dashed after her. Looking into the distance, he also pulled on a distant line. That's a nice trick. Easily keeping pace, he focused his attention on scanning their surroundings. Their pursuers were nowhere to be seen. Glancing back, he saw the spiked man jumping over rooftops, trailing them at a distance. Aradan turned, "Hey, you. That man...the spiked one, is following us." This is quickly becoming the most interesting twenty four hours in my life. @Koloss17@Lunamor@Steel Speedster@Through the Living Mist
  10. Honestly, I don't know why everyone is trusting me so much. I mean, I am village, but it's a shock from last game where, as soon as I posted, everyone was accusing me.
  11. Did I declare a vote? If I did, I must have forgot about it and changed my mind. Sorry if I was being misleading.
  12. I may not have drawing skills, but I can make stupid anagrams! @Archer @Amanuensis @Through The Living Grass @coco.pudding @Through the Living Hopper @Through the Living Mist @Through the living Wahr @TwinStorm @Through the Living Ink @Doc12 @mippo @|TJ| @Miss Fallen @Emperor Comatose @The Unknown Medallion @Frozen Mint
  13. Aradan Liese, Smokestacks The spiked man didn’t respond at all to a gun pointed in his face. He must be able to burn steel! Instead, he talked to the recently rescued prisoner. Who was Asylum? What an odd name. Regardless, they were still being chased. Carefully stepping towards the woman, Aradan put his hand on her shoulder. “We have to leave. Now. We’re still being chased. You said you know a place to go?” @Lunamor @Koloss17 @Through the Living Mist @Steel Speedster
  14. Oh, does that mean that homework overrides Owl Mail?
  15. I did them simultaneously. I read Mistborn first, but I didn't read Stormlight until a bit of WoT, then I read Stormlight, then I read more WoT, and so on.
  16. Nicrosil is implied to store the ability to use a certain magic, not necessarily pure investiture. (Although could be different) Also, warping space time is a very high bar. I suspect the most you could theoretically reach would be a perpendicularity. I do not believe so. Probably not. Yes, Stormlight can give off visible light, but (for example) atium does not, suggesting that (at least some forms of) investiture doesn't inherently emit light. No, I don't believe so.
  17. Very funny. I'll answer this. So, I was additionally worried about Mist getting targeted, but I wasn't sure how it was going to happen. I was nervous he would get a bunch of -3s. I also wasn't trying to blindly agree with anyone, that must have been at a time I was offline, so I missed it. Sorry about that. I had a busy Saturday and a busy week. I'll try and participate more. I'm also kinda just observing, watching for a slip. That kinda thing. I agree. I'm growing increasing suspicious of Grass, Doc, and Coco. @Amanuensis, my suspicion for you has mostly abated, and I do like your analysis, although I am worried about your "reaction tests" and your repetitive lying to all of us. It feels like your trying to play a game within the game, and that makes me nervous.
  18. Oh no. I was not expecting that. Well, I have a secret spell called Avada Kedavra that lets me exe Archer and instantly win the game. (I'll leave you to decide if that's true or not)
  19. Bro... Dumbledore's evil. Intensely interesting. However, I have to do the dishes. And then go to bed at a reasonable hour. (Slytherin will get this reference)
  20. Aradan Liese, Smokestacks Aradan burst through the door. Behind him, he could hear someone grabbing on to the trapdoor—probably from a jump. Quickly, he ran out into the street. Ah, I have to get out of here! Hopefully he could lose his pursuers in a crowd somewhere. Immediately, he stopped. There was a man with spiked eyes watching him! A Steel Inquisitor? But, no, they were all dead. Except for…Death. But no, he didn’t have the signature tattoos. It must just be a man, using ah, what was it called… I knew I should have read the Words of Founding more closely. Aradan raised a pistol and pointed it at the man. “Who are you?” he questioned, backing up slowly. @Koloss17 @Steel Speedster @Through the Living Mist @Lunamor
  21. Siannain looks like he’s about to hit Leonidas really hard (in a not necessarily legal way) and Leonidas looks like he’s trying to poke out an eye.
  22. No, they are not told if they failed. I didn't intend that to be a serious ability, more a dig at the Hand of the Light in the books. It's probably best to just remove that or take your suggestion of failure being inconclusive. I don't really know how most GMs actually do role distribution, so I just came up with this on the fly. This is the part I'm most likely to change. How it worked was the guaranteed roles were randomly distributed, and then the rest of the players rolled on this table. For example, if there are 16 players, a player would have a 1/4 chance of getting one of the 4 guaranteed rolls. If they do not get one of the guaranteed, then they have a 1/2 chance to get vanilla, 3/16 to get Lord Captain, and so on. That's a good point. (Although some of the spymaster, and all of the Lord captain can be blocked). I was unsure of whether to include roleblocking. The problem with roleblocking any of them (Inquisitor,Anointed,Lord Captain Commander) is that you have to make a new PM will everyone else. Unless, I suppose, you could have them stay in the PM, but they couldn't speak in it our vote. Edit: This is a very rough draft Edit2: I’m thinking of just tossing the elim roles (aes sedai & informant) altogether. The vote manipulation is very minor, as Jo mentioned, roleblock is not extremely helpful, and the Shadow Informant doesn’t do that much either.
  23. I mean, that could just be due to the fact that we couldn’t do much during cycle 0. You say that you will “note publicly now,” why now? Why not before?
