    Hey y'all, update and news

    So back in November I applied to the CBYX program, and I found out yesterday that I got in. Basically what this is is a fully-funded exchange program with Germany; so I get to go over there and do a year of schooling while living with a host family. (No, I do not yet know what host family or where I will be). Dates aren't completely set in stone, but it looks like I fly to Chicago toward the middle of July, spend a couple weeks there doing prep, and then fly over to Germany at the beginning of August. I then return to DC next June, spend a few days there, and then come back here.

    So once I leave in July, I have absolutely no clue what my schedule will be or when I will be able to be online. I'll check when I can, but that may be a year of significantly decreased activity. Odds are I'll also check Discord more, so if you want that it's on my profile above. Obviously this is several months out, but I want to make this known now before I get so caught up in prep for this and finishing the school year that I forget to mention and then mostly just disappear off the face of the earth for a year.

      My mom is from near Cologne, so we went to the Netherlands a ton. Dutch is german, but worse!
