"Faceless aren't..." Perseus struggled for words. "They're not animals. They're smart, devious, calculating demons. I'm not sure if they'll be smart enough to stay away, or if they'll investigate. Let's hope it's the first."

    "I... don't know. I feel so torn and conflicted about everything, and I'm not sure what I'm going to do. In some ways it easier to distract myself with other things like this, but I know I'll need to end it sometime. I just don't know how, not after I failed with the Dreamsmith."
