    Cricket sighed. He shouldn't be thinking about that. They were his friends, and deserved to be happy. He had killed Malan after all, and could start a new life. No need to be dwelling on the past. "You're good." he said slowly. "I'm fine."

    "No, no, you're fine. Just..." he sighed, not wanting to say the next part. "Take care of her."

    He sighed, sitting on the opposite side of the bed. “Look, I’m sorry. Earlier, before the fight, I yelled at you. And I never got to say sorry about that, so… I hope you know you’re an incredible person, and you deserve the best.”
