Hell no!!! What happened here?! I don't even want to think about the worst option… I must burn a prayer for the Kholin brothers right now 'cause I can't accept the death of either of them. Let's just hope this is not the reality or actually there's something else going on…

The new revelations are pretty awesome! So excited to (finally) know how Kaladin's brands actually look like. They had confused me for quite a while. And the new Stormlight logo and Bridge 4 patch… I can only say I love them!

It's really a hard choice! My favourite so far are probably Shallan and Wit, but I can't decide well… Kaladin & Syl, Szeth, Dalinar, Renarin, Jasnah and Navani they're also good! And I'm growing to like Adolin and Eshonai after reading WoR excerpts. Among the secondary/Interludes characters my vote goes to Rock, Sigzil, Rysn and Axies. Plus, I really want to know more about the Heralds, love Talanel!

- Reread WoK in two languages, arrange the notes taken during the first read-through and try to figure out more clues behind the text - Reread WoR preview chapters and discuss them with friends - Lurk in the Cosmere community - Recommend Stormlight to more people - Draw lots of Stormlight fanarts XD - Read many other fantasy books and non-fantasy books - At the same time focus on my study - The last one: Wait! Wait! Wait! (Still a pure torture!)

The revised one is as awesome as expected! With the largest resolution more details can be seen! *o* Can't decide which one to set as the wallpaper... Kaladin or Shallan???

Here're some of my expectations: 1. Illustrations of WoR: brand-new species of flora and fauna (Santhid is awesome!), design of Shardplate & Shardblade (Is this even possible???), guide to Rosharan fashion (especially Vorin costumes, really desire to see the front side of the Vorin dress, havah and also men's uniforms) The artwork of WoK is quite epic, let's hope we'll feel the same awesomeness in WoR! Plus, Navani's notebook! MORE artifabrian science and engineer society please! 2. SHALLAN!!! Since she's my favourite character in SA and WoR is her flashback book, my biggest expectation is her development. I'm dying to know her backstory! MORE on her family (her father, four brothers, what's going on with Helaran), the origin of her Shardblade and also Ghostblood. Then back to the main story arc, MORE on her character development! Let's see whether she can defeat her own fears and get rid of the whole mess. I'm also HIGHLY expecting her confrontation with Wit/Hoid and being involved in the "who's more witty" battle! (Or could she be the new Wit??) Last, her relationship with the boys. It'll be very interesting to see that happen, though I still cannot quite believe she's betrothed with Adolin... (If he can behave himself more seriously, then it's OK for me. If he cannot, Shallarin please.) 3. Overall expectations: - Worldbuilding - MORE interactions among the main characters - Dalinar and Szeth NOT dying - The epic Kaladin vs Szeth fight (with Kal winning) - Kaladin training his Windrunning abilities and discover more (another Ideal being spoken). MORE Bridge Four (Teft, Rock, Sigzil) and Syl. - Kaladin-Amaram-Dalinar, Kaladin and his family - MORE Renarin! - MORE Wit/Hoid!!!!! Also love to see some Cosmere crossover. - MORE on history of Roshar, philosophy, spren and three realms - Some amazing Interludes characters show up - MORE on Heralds! (MORE Talanel, Herald of War!) - More people are on their way of being KR, also give us some Voidbinders - Love interests appear

*o* Lord!!!!! I love this Kaladin!!!!! He just looks so right and so close to what I pictured him after becoming the captain! This one is much better than the former ones. So glad to see that he is much younger now! Love the shading of his hair and his face features are also great. Oh man this could be another reason to get the hardcover... It seems that the uniform is also modified a little bit? I'm getting to like it. His pose looks better and the glowing hand is awesome! (Is he doing Lashing or something?)

Oh my Goddess this is beautiful!!! We finally get Shallan! (Hoozah!) It's a great depiction and I also like how they do the flora and landscape! Can't wait to read the hardcover!

Whoa this is awesome!!! Rosharan ecology system comes alive with 3D models! Upvote for you! (I'd like to give upvotes hundreds of times!) Hope to see more amazing work in the future!

Yeah that's what I strive to do! (I didn't quite know how people think of my fanart before, but delightful to hear that some of them work!) The major (and also many minor) characters in SA are like dearest friends to me, and these feelings, which I haven't had for a fantasy book for years, always prompt me to do a better work. Despite the bitter fact that there's still so much to learn and practice in drawing, I won't fear the challenge!

Hi Feather!!! Nice to meet you here!!! Big hug since you are probably the first people I get to know in the Cosmere fandom! OMG does my art really produce that effect?! I've never thought that… I… I can't find a proper word to say… Keep staring at the screen and… Whoa millions of Thank You so much!s are not enough for it! Oh speak of the art… It's near the end of the semester… When I get my essays done, I'll come back and continue with all those fanarts! And the Shallarin fic cover, too! I've already got the idea how to draw it (Promise it'll be great!) and the only thing left is to pick up the pencil. Maybe in the early 2014, during the winter holidays!

Ah, new replies, thanks! Sorry that I haven't checked this post for days. Well about the language... hmm I always want to improve my English after coming to college, but I get very few chances to really practice it. Since my major is another foreign language (horrible!!), it often clashes with the way of thinking in English. That's the problem and what I have to do is to somehow avoid the interference, very tough, though. @Iredomi Thank you! May Shallan bring you a lifetime of happiness! @Sasukerinnegan Please don't have trouble, my hard time with WoK is real... but it's all past and I believe I'll definitely enjoy WoR @Argent I agree with you! @Satsuoni Haha in fact the friends and some artists around me all say that what I draw is not "chinese-style art", 'cause they think my drawing style is (probably) rarely seen among those who do manga/comics/illustration/fanart in China. I don't know why. A bit relieved when seeing your comment!

Wow the new cover!!! Oh maybe I'll still choose the first Rambodin... (Giving up the red headband is great, though!!) This new Kaladin makes me feel just not right at the first sight. The pose is also a bit strange and there's something with his arms! But when I look at the modified cover longer, it does look much better! The face features are more Alethi-like than the first one! I think I'm going to like it! But still not very satisfied with the uniform design (sigh), I personally adore Exmakina's design better! (Sorry Mr. Whelan, but your art is still very awesome and stunning!!!) And perhaps our beloved captain should also be a little younger? Hope we could get a better final version in the coming March! And also, is the Szeth part going to be modified? The former one is amazing! (Another stuff off the topic: Everyone has their own imagination of a certain character, which makes depicting characters directly a very very tough task for a cover/illustration artist, and they have to take this burden and try to make the readers happy... gold star for them! But it seems that most of us may prefer a cover which is more conceptual without too much canon depiction of the story and the characters?)
