Alvar listens to the in his opinion irrelevant argument, and decides that even if it doesn’t matter, choosing a side would alienate another team member. That would be probably. Intimidating another team member, on the other hand, would be fine. “I’m sure you’re all having fun arguing, but we were practicing, if you recall. I was thinking I’d stop crossbow practice, but I still need a target. Any volunteers?” He smiles his many toothed bloody smile, then flicks his wrist. The valve set in the sleeve of his leather armor opens, and he directs and freezes water into a jagged blade. “There’s not benefit to actually hurting each other, so I’ll spar to whatever metric a challenger wants, assuming it’s fair.” -
He flexes the still metal arm. “I think so. I don’t feel corrupt-y any more. We should still wait a bit to make sure it doesn’t come back, but I think I’m cured.”

Aora pulled the rest out. @InfiniteInsanity @SpiritOfWrath, also. Golden sparks fly as Aora removes the binding that kept them there, floating into Veer and healing him properly. The corruption cleansed from him, Veer’s now-metal arm shines in prismatic colors. He takes the circlet back from Aora. “Thank you. Is there anything I can do to repay you?”

Cole blinks. “Why would I do that? I don’t think I broke any laws, anyway. You’re just accosting an innocent traveler.”

Cole does a combination of buying, stealing, gifting, and trading things in the shops. It’s not like it really matters what he takes… they won’t miss it that much. And he left a pancake from earlier! Who wouldn’t want one of those!

Nick vaults, lightened by hydrogen, into the upper floor. He picks up whichever strike team member seems like the commander, hoping the body - and any useful teleportation related technology - will come with him. “There’s not a lot of time; take whatever supplies you can!”

"You look familiar, that's all. Why are you in an oven room?" Olvax repeats his snake eye eyebrow raise. "How about when it sheds or dies, whichever comes first, you give me its hide. What's your price."

"Advance payment for something you don't have yet? What if it dies beforehand? Shouldn't we be putting out that fire?"

Veer looks at it. "So that's the thing that did all this? Maybe if you put it with some magic it can't use to spread, you can store it like that."

Olvax cocks his head. "Have I seen you before?"

The corruption is a piece of change metamagic. Without it, the spellsteel begins to sparkle again, colors it reflects prismatic. Healing magic and some raw telekinesis are unbound from the mess, sending out ordinary golden sparks and rustling objects around the room. The corruption itself lacks a form, so it keeps trying to jump towards whatever magic you put it near. He laughs "Agreed on both counts."

Kaleb pulls out his pouch, preparing to freeze... stuff.

"This tree is closer than the other one." he glowers a bit, as if complimenting his was rude.

"I suppose I could use the cameras, but this is useful."

Alvar reloads the crossbow, and hits the tree. "Yes, they likely did. They weren't totally incompetent, perhaps they took them off of inexperienced guards."

Both Fourth and Magic blink for a second, stunned and confused. "Fine." Magic links to Ryn and suddenly you know where every animal on the islands are, and what they are doing. Insects and birds watch the tributes carefully.
