    Shoe whipped around at the sound. Beosta was gone. Not again! He heard her scream again and rushed towards where she had been. It almost sounded like it was coming from . . . He reached for the wall, and his hand went right through it. Whoa. He stuck his head in and found her on the ground. He held out his hand to help her up.

    Poor girl. I do the same thing tho so I get it Shoe led them through the city streets. They got some weird looks from the people, but for the most part everyone left them alone. After about fifteen minutes of walking, he stopped outside an alleyway. There wasn't anything special about it that he could tell, but he walked in and began looking around anyway. No idea sorry

    The map was of the city. The hospital was a the bottom left corner, and the X was in the middle. Shoe stopped and showed Beosta the map, running his finger across a street that headed North, then East, then North again, then East again, then South. Or at least it was probably North, East,and South. The map didn't have a compass rose on it. Either way, they would figure the orientation out when they got outside. It didn't seem like a particularly hard map to follow. Shoe stepped outside, looked between the map and their surroundings a few times, then started off away from the hospital, waving for the others to follow.

    Shoe nodded and made way for her to walk out the door. He noticed a small piece of paper flutter to the ground when she got up, and so, after she had gone, he bent over and picked it up. It seemed to be from Roth to Beosta. Mute. Shoe hated that word. But what was this about redemption? What did Roth mean? What had Beosta done? He stuffed the note in his pocket and followed after her. I actually hate the word 'mute' now. Like legit. Feels like a freaking slur against my 'lil baby; and I mean it kind of is, the way it's been used by Roth and a few others. Keep using it though. It drives character and plot development.
