  1. Yeah . . . Bojangles was kind of a south-eastern thing . . . K, would you say Cracker Barrels are common in Texas?
  2. Uh, sure. Shoe thought that was a little weird, but he didn't really mind. PUN INTENDED *laughter*
  3. Yeah, it's really good. Okay, this'll make sense in a second I swear: Do y'all have any Cracker Barrels where you live? Edit: OR BOJANGLES?!
  4. "Hey look, it's me!" she said. She shrieked. "Get off of Silly!" she yelled at it.
  5. Oh. Wait, you can hear me? That makes this a lot easier. He chuckled. I wasn't talking to you just then, sorry. I want to get a memory to show my sister.
  6. Collard greens, fried okra, and potato salad (the thick, homemade kind, not that watery store-bought stuff *shudder*). I miss putting on fish frys, tbh What about you? Wait, what's the plural of fish fry? Is it fries or frys . . . ? 'Cus like, it's an event, not a food . . . I'll just write fish frys . . . With your hands, obviously.
  7. Haly, you're incorrigible in the best way Tam laughed. "I don't think he'd like that very much," she said, rubbing Shoe's head like he was a child. He rolled his eyes and swatted her hand away, but nodded admittedly. Yeah . . . He thought for a moment. What about something happier? he said to Tam. "Oh? Like what?" Just something, he replied, walking up to the caravan man. Caraman? he thought to himself.
  8. I completely agree; Texas is its own kind of Southern. So is Florida . . . Anyway! I miss the people down there a lot. Not saying I don't love my friends here in the West, or that there aren't nice people, but everyone just seemed a lot friendlier back there.
  9. I lived a few different places South Carolina, most recently. I don't want to say more than that (respectfully), but it's not hard to figure out since my background is literally the Charleston, SC Pineapple Fountain I never lived in Texas though. Sorry
  10. *sigh* no. I moved to Utah a few years ago. I miss it there (although i really like the climate here).
  11. "But pigs are made of bacon . . . I think. And you called yourself bacon." She sat on the ground and started twirling her hair again.
  12. Hey, it's all good. You don't have to apologize Shoe was surprised. That was fast. He and Tam shook their heads. "We're fine," Tam said.
  13. Oh man, my hair was TERRIBLE in the South though. Humidity and my hair do NOT get along at all. freaking bush hair . . .
  14. "I didn't call you a pig first, you did," she pouted.
  15. Aora breathed a small sigh of relief. "Oh . . . okay. Goodbye." She watched him fly off, then turned back to the man. "So . . . it absorbs magic, right?" she asked, making sure she had it right. This all depended on whether it did or not. @Dragonheir
  16. Actually, no. My hair is really curly when I wake up but it somehow doesn't look bad
  17. Sorry to disappoint; it's not Shoe watched the interaction, intrigued but also frightened of what this man could do.
  18. Yes watched, amused. "Now you're both pigs!" she laughed.
  19. I also know how to roast people.
