    She ran her fingers over Felicity's back comfortingly.

    Realizing just that, Aela removed her hand and continued to sit with Felicity until she was ready.

    Aela gently put her own hand over Felicity's. "What happened?" she asked again.

    "I guess it's good for us . . . and I guess I do know why we don't need to, but-" she shrugged, "-it doesn't really matter."

    "What happened? Are you hurt?" Aela asked quietly.

    Aela caught her gently. "Here, come on," she said softly, leading Felicity slowly back to her room. Once they got there, she helped Felicity up onto the the bed and wrapped a blanket around her shoulders. She climbed up on the bed and sat behind her, wrapping her arms around the younger girl to help warm her up.

    She wasn't quite sure what Felicity was saying. "What was that? I didn't- can you stand? You really need to get out of the cold . . ."

    Aela stood there for a moment, then wrapped her arms around Felicity's frozen shoulders. "Felicity . . . what happened?"

    "Felicity?" she said gently. "Hey, you need to get up. You can't stay out here."

    Aela gasped and rushed over. "Felicity? Felicity!" she said as she took in the physical condition of the younger girl. "Goodness, let's get you inside; you're half-frozen!"
