  1. How do you make a sandcastle evil? - "Oh, I'm sorry, do you want to die? Or be turned into a zombie, or whatever it was you said earlier?" She looked at the box. "Those . . . aren't mine, by the way," she said pointing to the chocolates. "I wouldn't eat them if I were you." The note burned up before Rose could read it. Respectfully, stop messing with our characters, please.
  2. They were filled with chocolate, but also raw egg. It was impossible to tell which was which.
  3. *whispers* Only the ones she likes
  4. Yeah. I'm still worried, though. Wanna find something to do? - She walked backwards a few steps and sat on the ground. "No."
  5. Crazy. - The little machine stayed stubbornly on her arm, no matter how she tried to pry it off. "I didn't poison you. And you're right- I don't like you. Not even a little." She looked Rose straight in the eyes. "But I'm not going to kill you just because I feel like it." Tam made a frustrated noise. "Why would he have ears here? That doesn't make sense, either."
  6. I hadn't realized they could learn like this. - "Calm down. It's just taking some measurements," she replied apathetically.
  7. Shoe grinned. They're so cute. - "Hmm." Tam conjured a small machine and put it on Rose's arm, careful not to touch her. It uncurled and spread over Rose arm, much like the device Tam had given Bat. She felt a little pinch, but otherwise it didn't seem to do anything.
  8. Um . . . okay. I guess you could just pick up words as we talk . . . - Tam wasn't completely opposed to the idea, but she didn't like how it worried Bat. "Do you know why the metal turned to ash?"
  9. Um . . . what kinds of words? - Tam swore. "That's not good . . . do you know how to stop it?"
  10. Shoe looked at it, confused. What? - Tam shook her head. "I don't think so."
  11. Shoe grinned and rested his head on Beosta's. - "Nope! I'm utterly heartless," she replied, gesturing to Rose's body. "I just want to know if . . . whatever that is, is contagious or not."
  12. Shoe grinned, too. Happy. Yep. It feels good. - Tam eyed her warily. "Uh . . . Rose? Hey. How do you feel?"
  13. True. He sat. - All good! Tam nodded and tried to Narrate Rose awake- -but then remembered that wouldn't work. "Uh . . ." She summoned a stick and poked Rose gently on the head. "Rose?"
  14. He smiled at her. You're probably right. Thanks. The little spirits were odd, he thought. They've been following us for a while, and we're no closer to figuring out why they're here, he sighed. What about Tam's thing she said?
  15. He rolled his eyes. I guess she's just . . . I hope she's alive, is all I'm saying. She hasn't answered me since we talked earlier. - "Yeah. What do you think?" She looked at Rose. "And should we wake her up?" I feel the same way.
  16. Sorry forgot to respond to this one He chuckled. Whatever. It's fine. I hope Tam's alright . . . he sighed. "But . . . I'm not so sure it's a good idea to go there." She shrugged. Remember what happened in the dungeon?
  17. Tam sighed and handed him the flyer Lady Bug had handed her the previous night. "I talked with her last night. It's supposed to be some sort of . . . safe haven place." She shrugged and stared at her feet. "It sounds nice, not gonna lie."
  18. She nodded. "Come look though- do you know what's wrong with her?"
  19. "She's alive," she told Bat. There was . . . a lot of ash, though. And the metal shell was really thin . . . She vanished the metal cocoon, but kept a small piece and put it in her pocket.
  20. "Hey, hey, it's alright. I'm sure she's . . . she's fine." Just in case Rose wasn't fine, Tam walked over to the side of the container that Bat couldn't see, and made only a small section of it vanish.
