  1. She laughed harder. I don't know! Those just sound like . . . WITCHY things, y'know? Bat the frog, she snickered. - "Did they feed you much . . . ?" Irie asked Five.
  2. She snorted and laughed. Wow, thanks, she grinned sarcastically. Shall I turn you into a frog, then? Make you fall in love with a tree? she said in a British accent. - Irie watched with satisfaction. "Did they . . . give you much food, ever?" Nom
  3. "I know your leg's hurt, but your arms are fine, so you might want to start digging," Litika said as she shoveled more snow out of the hole.
  4. She grimaced and looked at his leg. "Oh- be careful!" she said, but pointed to a specific patch of snow she'd already started digging out with her hands. Some sort of feathers stuck out of the snow, so she continued digging.
  5. I'm out of rep but REAL
  6. Litika didn't have a stick, but she did wave to him from a short distance away. "I think I found your bird!" she yelled.
  7. She grinned wider and laid back on the covers again, still holding his hand. I may not be a malicious god, but I'm definitely a mischievous one, she chuckled. She felt a lot better. Strangely relaxed . . . like a weight had been taken off her chest. Almost happy. Still kind of weird. I don't normally think of myself as a god . . . but for you it seems like the way normal to think about Narrators. - She nodded and brought Five a few granola bars, an apple she'd snagged from a coworker, and a brownie she'd been saving for later.
  8. She squeezed his hand back. I hope so. Then she smiled. Remember how deathly afraid of me you were a few weeks ago? - ". . . I'll go get some, then. Do you have any allergies?"
  9. I-I agree. - She nodded. "We can go to the cafeteria in a bit- but we also have some granola bars and trail mix 'round here somewhere, if you want some."
  10. Thank you, she repeated. Thank you . . . She relaxed in his arms. - Irie was actually becoming quite worried. "Are you . . . hydrated yet, I guess?" Tam sat up and wiped her eyes, embarrassed now that someone else had walked in. You- you do look kinda familiar, she told him.
  11. She sniffled again and decided not to contradict him. I wouldn't even be here if it weren't for you . . . she mumbled. Thank you. - She couldn't help but grin as she presented Five with the third bottle.
  12. She hugged him back, tears welling up in her eyes. I know. I'm so, so sorry. Tears fell onto the blanket beneath her head. I-I'll do my best, not to . . . leave. - Irie nodded and left the room to grab another. She took one off the shelf, then turned to leave- -but grabbed another, just in case. She returned and handed one to Five.
  13. She exhaled and grimaced. . . . Yes. Please. - "Goodness, when did you last have water? Do you want another one?"
  14. Maybe, she whispered. Gosh, her heart was pounding so hard in her chest . . . she felt kind of lightheaded. She gripped his hand even tighter. I think- I think that's all for now . . . - Irie nodded. She stepped out of the room for just a moment and came back with a water bottle. "I can get you some food in a second, but for now, you should probably drink this." Coolio
  15. She stared at the ceiling. Why? Not really. But I certainly know . . . what I wanted to do because of those feelings. She squeezed his hand harder. - "Huh. Okay." Not very grateful, is he? She turned to Five. "Are you hungry?"
  16. Just . . . she started. Hopeless . . . and tired . . . - "Is everything okay?" Irie asked Lise and Aden, eyeing Starlight. @_Null_ @Halcyon The Only
  17. She took a shaky breath. Um . . . okay. - Irie greeted her similarly. "What's going on here?" she asked her and Aden.
  18. She took a deep breath. I'm- I'm not actually sure what to say, she laughed shakily. - Irie held the door for her. She nodded to the doctor. "Be back later." Then she rushed to the room with Starligth and Aden.
  19. She sighed and relaxed back into the covers. This feeling. This was the feeling she'd been trying to find. Peacefulness. A sense of security. She was a little surprised to also find that this -allowing Bat to try and help her- didn't bother her anymore. Probably because she realized now that how she felt also affected how he felt. Maybe . . . maybe I could talk about it a little . . . she said hesitantly. - She opened her mouth to say something, looking apologetically to the doctor. He shrugged. "You could come with me for a little while, if you'd like."
  20. Well, that was kind of sad. She turned her head back towards the ceiling, closing her eyes. Then again . . . she hadn't really, either. Though it was a little different. Well, still. Thank you. - Irie looked back at her. "I'll be back soon, I promise! The other one we rescued- he's just causing some trouble. Shouldn't take too long."
  21. "Ah. The first, then," she said, looking over at Aventine's son. She blinked. Probably best not to question it. "Well, it was nice to meet you, then. I'm going to keep helping Seamus look for his phoenix!" She turned and tromped through the snow, unbothered by the cold in her t-shirt and shorts.
