  1. He slid down into a dark tunnel, where Tam was waiting with her flashlight pointed down a tunnel. Told you there were some caves systems 'round here somewhere. C'mon! She started walking down one of them. - Crags of rock began to push their way out of the ground with random, jerking, splitting, shifting motions and formed jagged shapes. Similar formations emerged from the walls and ceilings of the cavern.
  2. . . . *siiiiiiiiiiiiigh* SKYE SACRIFICE TIME @KnightSkye
  3. She just laughed in his mind. Relax, I'm fine. It's kinda like a slide. She peered into the darkness around her. You wanna adventure a little? - He raised a hand for dramatic effect, and the lights in the cavern began flickering. The phone in the woman's hand shattered, bits of glass and metal lodging themselves in her hands. After all, their tech couldn't be completely made of Nullite. She pulled it out of her hand? lol - They all reappeared in a cozy cabin on a snowy mountaintop. There was a kitchen well-stocked with food and a living room, as well as a lit fireplace and enough rooms for them all to stay in. Another note appeared. Sorry for the short notice. I'm not sure when exactly this will blow over, but you should be safe here. If there's an emergency, or you need anything, contact me the same way. - Ava An identical blue orb appeared in the air. P.S. Bat and I are fine- sorry for disappearing yesterday. Utility smiled at the boy from afar, but once again, there was no emotion behind it. "Hello, Flax," they said, and though the sound traveled it sounded as though they were standing right next to him.
  4. Hmph. Well, I'll just stay dead then.
  5. Tam grinned. Wait, Dessie, you've learned to speak our language! Good for you! The- Her next step went straight through the organic detritus on the forest floor, revealing a gaping hole some six-or-so feet in diameter. She yelped and disappeared into the darkness. - She yawned and grabbed a plasma-thing from the glovebox, then tried to sleep again. Utility smiled menacingly at the people, though there was no emotion behind it. "People of the caverns, I am Utility, your new ruler," they said, voice booming throughout the space. "Submit to me, or die." They allowed themselves to be shaped by the people's perception, becoming what the people thought a Narrator should be. Or at least look like. That should, hopefully, inspire a good amount of panic; both the transformation and the final product. - A note appeared in Bat's house, floating next to his mother, along with a little glowing blue sphere. Gather your family. You all need to get out of there. Crush the orb in your hands when you've gotten everyone together, and it will take you somewhere safe. - Ava
  6. Utility took the teleporter. "Seems appropriate." They activated the machine and appeared at the caverns. @Halcyon The Only
  7. "Then give me a name, if you think I should have one."
  8. It already knew that. Once it heard that, it realized it had already known its purpose. Odd. It nodded. "Where?"
  9. Not telling. You'll just have to alive both of us.
  10. Tam snorted. Welcome back, Dessie. And not exactly. Don't eat this one. - She rolled her eyes and rested her head back on the seat.
  11. Nope! But it's a nice night for a walk, right? - ". . . I murdered somebody too."
  12. Not until you alive yourself Every time you die, I die That's what my spell did :D:D
  13. She smiled back at him in the moonlight. - ". . . Why?"
  14. 'Course. It's true, after all. She squeezed him one more time, then grabbed his hand and started through the woods again. - She gave him a confused look. "You . . . don't want to go?" She nodded. Alright. That's all I wanted to hear. She summoned the same person as before and gave it the same amount of Narrative power.
  15. . . . Or- Or we could just not die-
