Shoe slowly turned around.
Behind him lay a huge, reptilian beast easily twenty feet tall; thankfully, it seemed to be sleeping. Unfortunately, that meant that it was still twenty feet high while it was sleeping. They did not want to wake that thing up.
Shoe frantically motioned for Nogard to be quiet.
Shoe signed exasperatingly.
He stomped on the marble with his foot, shattering it.
There was a bright blue flash-
-and suddenly Shoe and Nogard were in a completely black room.
Niamh went and sat on the floor near her stool, set her load down, and leaned her head back against the wall. She sighed and closed her eyes for a moment.
