This forum is for discussing our favorite parts of Brandon Sanderson and Brandon Mull books and comparing their books and writing styles and what we most like about them. I just really want to see how many people who read Sanderson also read Mull. I do like how in depth both of there world building is but I think Mull builds a new world faster and more understandable and Sanderson can balance multiple points of view and still keep the story understandable. What are your opinions or comparisons between their books and characters.

We hear how you can preprogram lifeless with commands and then take control of them with that phrase like Lightsong does with the squirl The commands we hear are Almond grass, Bottom line blue, red panther Verdant bells, and A candle by which to see.These are the more important command phrases in the book so my question to you is what would you choose for your command phrases I would choose silver on ice or little red snakes or ten armies marching. What would you choose there are no wring answers

I didn't realize the difference in investiture and how much more there was on Roshar. Good point on how much power stormlight gives you. Even then I feel like almost all of the surges are obvious if you use them where as feruchemy and allomancy can be more subtle and easier to hide but yes in general I think Surges is sheer power have an edge over twinborn.

I don't think surges have that much over twin born because pewter allomancy or gold feruchemy are equal and almost certainly better then the endurance of stormlight and there are far more combinations of twinborn then surges

I would say surges grant you slight healing so not supernaturally fast but you would be able to survive things others could not

If you could have access to any two surges or to be any twinborn with one feruchemical power and one allomantic metal which would you choose (you can not be a compounder) I would choose Progression and Gravitation so I can help those who are sick and can fly to those who need help

My favorite part of HISHE videos is the scientist guy who points out the solution so obvious we should all see it but most of the time we ignore the easy answer in a movie

I think Gavilar is the best choice here because basically builds all the laws and ideals of Alethkar with almost no help and has lots of experience running a kingdom Dalinar does build the coalition but he doesn't actually ever a run a kingdom

I think you just get the people not who ever follows them or else you could get all of bridge 4 by choosing Kaladin or Dalinar. It would be to overpowered if you got the armies to.

If you could pick three people from any Cosmere book to help you become emperor of ancient Rome which three would you choose. I also had to choose Notum even though we only see him a few time we see him always make the right decision and stick to his moral plus he gives a awesome line during the trial ruining Sekeir plan to discredit Adolin plus he gives us one of the best lines in the book.

I think gem hearts would be worth so much more then just monetary value the fact that a gem heart can your entire army for a while on just a gem and be able to build walls make metal appear from air and being able dispose of waste easily is worth so much more than just how nice a gem looks. 10 million dollars in only the tip of the ice burg if you can equip feed and make shelter for your entire army all the time it is easily worth having a shard bearer with a army

I mean Shallan was able to follow Jasnah all over before meeting her with almost no resources, no connections and little money now imagine having a organization with hundreds of members some in high locations and almost unlimited resources I feel like it would not be hard to figure out where Jasnah was and the Ghostbloods are probably expecting her to return to the shattered plains sometime and can watch for ships heading that way.
