thank you... my inspiration definitely didnt come from me reasurching deep sea animals at 3 in the morning and seeing some cool stuff. intresting as that is something i had compleatly forgotten to consider. i do know for a fact that the middle band would be uninhabited and the storm would be one way to deter people from traviling from one side of the world to the other. i can also add some more backstory to one of my planets moons about it being the embodiment of the storm... i was planning on having my plants be anything but green since i can get a much wider range of colour through bioluminescence. picture pandora from avatar during the eclipse only with less green... and off course covered in piles of snow and ice... i was also considering how much i could get away with phosphorescence used inside some buildings that get recharged with moonlight...

the light side reaches temps of up to 40-60 degrees celcius again depending on things like the weather and time of year... there are things living on the lightside however thorough properganda spread by the gods of darkness (which are the good guys in my series) anything that tries to enter the darkside by passing through the small band of more european climate land will be hunted down and burned at the stake as people belive it to be a daemon... more information about the night side It is permanently nighttime. Most plants evolved biolumineces and photosynsisize via the moons especially the green moon which when rises all the plants start to bloom and turn towards. Many animals also evolved to use bioluminecece to ward off predators or to attract prey. Humans have stripes and markings across their body which is unique for each person that light up and change colour to indicate emotion. Greenhouses near geothermal vents sustain bioluminescent crops. Heated water vapor enriches plant growth. however plants can thrive in small clusters around natural geothermal vents though they are unable to travel far from the heat. Bathhouses serve as centers for relaxation, socialization, and even political discussions i also have some basic ideas for a magic system and only 3 fleshed out gods...

how could life exsist on the dark side of a tidal locked planet? asume that there is enough sunlight for everything to barely survive and there was singnifiant amounts of geothermal activity... what kinds of adaptations might be expected... if you need more information please feel free to ask.

it's more of an update to hopefully make more sence... i changed the backstory, the goals and slightly tweaked the loose ends. the main difrence is that he has a few difrent abilities such as being a 4th ideal stoneward with armor

just a quick clarification on plot would the story be about the UFO dealing with Perses or will it be dealing with some other threat? or have i compleatly misunderstood...
