The Cult of Oncat
Faerie Braids replied to Thaidakar the Ghostblood's topic in Social Groups, Clans, & Guilds
Oncat is more powerful than the Stick! The Stick became fire at the hand of Harshaw, prophet of Oncat, and I know this because Oncat told me so... Also, Oncat demands that non-Oncat-believers (Noncat believers?) must be burned at the stake for their wickedness! Just like fire, our true master is orange, and he hisses.- 33 replies

Baking. I find the exact measurements and clear instructions easier to follow, and I tend to enjoy the end result more, so I have more practice. What is your favourite Cosmere curse word?

How Did You Become Cosmere Aware?
Faerie Braids replied to Through The Living Glass's topic in Cosmere Discussion
I read the original Mistborn trilogy out of my local library, absolutely loved it, then soon forgot about Brandon Sanderson when I realised that none of his other books were available at the library. Cut to several years later, when I found TFE and Elantris in a bin of free books, remembered how much I had loved the series, and decided to reread Mistborn. Being a few years older, and having money to spend on books, I bought Secret History, and almost died when Elantrians showed up. At that point, I was completely hooked, and read the rest of the Cosmere within a couple of months. -

I am irrationally afraid of large, flat landscapes. I went to the prairies once, and it was mildly terrifying; if I can't see trees, or at least mountains, it feel like I might fall off the Earth itself. Yes, I know I am weird.

If you were going to the Forests of Hell...

Body - Vin Skill Set - Yumi (This was originally Hoid, for his storytelling skills, but then I noticed he was restricted) Power Set - Any Makay-im (Deepest Ones) Item - Blessing of Presence spikes. My plan is to just live in the ground, hiding from the shades, and surfacing every once in a while to provide art and entertainment in exchange for Voidlight. -
THEATRE! I love theatre so much and 100% consider myself a theatre kid, even though I only discovered my love of it less than a year ago, when I was a "crewsie" for my school's production of Newsies. Since then, I have played Ms. Bropila in This Is a Text for a regional drama festival, and I am currently playing Mrs. Puff (plus a myriad of chorus roles) in my school's upcoming performance of The SpongeBob Musical. I haven't had the chance to familiarise myself with many shows so far, but I did get to see a tour production of Hadestown in November, and it was... ... beautiful beyond words. I may have left the theater sobbing and been mostly nonverbal the next day. Honestly, it was that moment when I understood that theatre had saved my life, and, no matter where I choose to go or who I choose to be, theatre will always be a part of my life. Since then, I have slowly been working my way through cast recordings, and my darling children so far are Newsies, Hamilton, Hadestown, Heathers, SpongeBob, Come From Away, The Prom, and, most recently, Wicked (I listened to it for the first time three days ago and it has being playing non-stop in my mind since then ). Um, yeah, that is all!

No, and I am very glad not to be; it is half an hour to midnight and sleeting sideways outside right now. TPBM has commissioned some form of art. -

Cold leftovers of most foods (but especially stew, curry, pasta, and quiche) are often better than when the meal was warm and fresh. -

The Nightwatcher will get back to you in around two years. In the meantime, enjoy having no sense of taste! I wish for a cat that does not shed.
