I assume you're talking about the new preview chapters of Wind and Truth? You appear to be under a slight misconception.

Melishi, the ancient Bondsmith of the False Desolation, hid Mishram's gemstone in the Spiritual Realm, not the Cognitive, in order to ensure that no one could ever find it or retrieve it. How exactly he did this is currently unknown, my best guess is he used his Bondsmithing to open a Perpendicularity, Intended to use it to got to the Spiritual Realm, since WOB states you can use a Perpendicularity to go to the SR as well as the Cognitive, then just chucked Mishram's gemstone in it. Probably too basic though.

Forgive me, I got confused when writing, I want to know how they actually stuck the stone in the spiritual realm, something that I thought was impossible, because there isn't a place for agreement wobs. Could it be that they made some mistake with the connection or converted the precious stone into a pure investiture?

Well, I mentioned two above. Really, most of the John Maxwell books are generally well received in business ( I read 21 Laws for a leadership workshop for my company). Lincoln on Leadship (Donald Phillips) I read while in the military. Principle-centered Leadership (Stephen Covey) is also generally well received, but I have not yet read that one.

I've also read a few non-fiction "military event/story" books because, even if they are not "about leadership," the well-written ones will discuss why and how leadership was conducted and decisions made and cover what went right and what went wrong (and why) - such as: The Guts to Try (Col James Kyle - Iranian Hostage rescue), Killer Angels (Michael Shaara - novelization of the Battle of Gettysberg), The Raid (Ben Schemmer - about the attempt to rescue POWs from N Vietnam)

Theres a whole thread about Book Recommendations Here - but not many non-fiction books have been suggested for addition yet.

Also, most military professional reading lists are available online, such as the USAF Chief of Staff Reading list - and they will usually have a "Leadership" section.

    Hope that helps

Thank you very much, you have everything I wanted in these links

Just to be clear, are you looking for Non-Fiction Leadership books with similar leadership concepts (Lincoln on Leadership, 21 Laws of Leadership, etc.) or are you looking for Speculative Fiction with similar Leadership messages?

books on leadership with similar concepts, it's because what left me amazed by the way of kings was not just the lessons on leadership (but I accept any book of type 😃) but the fact that they also follow a philosophy of making you be someone better, and I would really like a reading like

  5. Brandon confirmed in one of the new WOBS that if a human and a kandra had a child it would be of mixed blood, what could their powers and characteristics be? Could the first in the lineage be Wayne and Meelan? (It's a small hope of mine that I have a little Wayne out there)

I thought this was the general topic of Cosmere not Miatborn, I'm sorry, how do I use the spoiler box?

    An interesting thought.

We don't really know for sure right now (we don't even know how era 3 will turn out yet), but I highly suspect that medallion technology will advance enough to potentially mimic any Allomantic or Feruchemical power, allowing for everybody to have some direct access to the Metallic Arts. Harmonium technology will also have advanced, allowing for machines to accomplish work in many different ways, or to possibly replace some of the need for Allomancers/Feruchemists in the first place.

It's also possible that Hemalurgy will become a more accepted advancement as well (if era 3 uses Hemalurgy as part of the cold war between the northern and southern continents, I highly suspect that this will be the case), possibly allowing Hemalurgic spikes to be manufactured via artificial Spiritwebs. If this turns out to be the case, I could see people using Hemalurgy to augment themselves, perhaps through more than just powers, but by using innate human attributes to alter their physiology as they please.

I could also see advancements made by utilizing Kandra flesh, either to learn how to create new, special substances or to graft on to humans either as a form of medicine or for augmentations (perhaps instead of or in addition to attribute spikes).

I could see the Copperweb being a thing too- a massive interconnection of Unsealed Copperminds used to let people use a type of VR to experience the world or to share memories.

If the Scadriens become Realmatically aware enough and gather enough Investiture through some means (use of too much medallion or Harmonium tech, or possibly the Copperweb when it becomes Invested enough to form one on its own), they could use Perpendicularities to form cities in the Cognitive Realm to expand and connect to those in the Physical Realm, or to build functional cities in the ocean.

the fact that harmonium technology evolves makes me think of something, is it possible for it to replicate any magic and not just allomancy if it knows how to do it right, for example the outbreaks

  8. In TLM Wayne keeps hammering the number 17 key repeatedly, Wax says that when two metals form an alloy they are not a mixture but a new metal, this would be a foreshadowing, Brandon showing us that now that two fragments have fused

The most symbolic cosmeric number is now 17? Would that mean a seventeenth Allomantic metal?

Maybe something very important happened behind the scenes and people started unconsciously thinking about 17?

I don't think Brandon would introduce this for free, maybe he started with Wayne so we wouldn't pay too much attention

  9. create a peak so highly invested that it can itself close the crack in the spirit web, as if it were a nahel bond.

but that's theory on my part because I read a WOB saying that the peak is a little aware that it's alive and piercing someone, so with more investiture maybe it can create a pseudo sapience and solve this, I just don't know if it's viable

It likely can't work. There are multiple binding points in the heart, and they matter when you're stealing the powers.

    Brandon Sanderson

So, since I was doing other things.  Hemalurgy-when you spike, you place the spike in a place that determines which charge the spike gets.

    Kythis

Through the heart seems to pick up universally.

    Brandon Sanderson

It depends on where in the heart. It's like acupuncture. This was designed from acupuncture and you get very specific on which nerve you're hitting and things like that

    Kythis

So the spike will never pick up more than one power.

    Brandon Sanderson

Well, the way they know how to do it.

Footnote: This clarifies two previous questions.

If using a single peak to get two powers wouldn't work, how about I take two already made peaks and mix them. Like a medallion for example, this would only damage a part of the soul

I had the same idea a while back, buried somewhere in the forums. Ah, the nostalgia this topic brings up is refreshing.

Glad someone is asking the important questions😄

Did you come to any good conclusions?

    11 hours ago, Trusk'our said:

Another limitation to having multiple metals for a single spike is that you'd have to make sure they belonged in the same general area on the body; steel and pewter could go together, as their Bindpoints have the same general location on the body. Brass and bronze (as you already mentioned) would work together as well, and cadmium, Bendalloy, gold, and electrum would probably all work together as a single spike.

Even with this limitation of the same area, this is a chance to have more powers, damaging the soul less and without exposing yourself to harmony or any allomantic or ferruquemic on duty.

  11. I haven't been able to follow all the reasoning behind your formulas yet, but I have a doubt.

In the case of the steelpush, in addition to using the person's weight, there is also their efficiency in using magic.

Brandon said that the strongest people in the magic system are like this because they use investiture more proficiently, that is, they waste less, and I don't think it's possible to calculate an ironpull or stellpush because of the character's own appearance and how much proficiency he has in his invested art.

But and you? Do you think there is a way to add this to the formula?

  12. Would there be any way to create a double peak? for example, one part is bronze and the other is brass, so with the right intention I could steal more than one thing per peak? sticking a twinborn in the heart (which in my opinion is the bindpoint of all metallic art) I could take A-Zinc and F-Copper

For example, one part is bronze and the other is brass, so with the right intention I could steal more than one thing per spike? by sticking a twinborn in the heart (which in my opinion is the bindpoint of all metallic art) I could get A-Zinc and F-Copper?

    Spoilers de Yumi;

First of all, this macabre idea of yours of stalking a person to be able to control them, maybe this will even end up being a way of "interrogating" a future scadrial

Anyway, I understood what you meant and I was upset, I wanted to find different ways to use hemalurgy, not just to steal powers itself, but I have no idea how to hack this magical system

  15. What would a mistborn cyberpunk world be like?

people implanting aceylic parts in the body? metal minds in the spine? Few hemalurgics with hacked properties for sale? I know that many of these things are impossible, but whenever cyberpunk is said, 2020 and now 2079 come to mind, and in these universes it's always like that, messy and messy.

So I wanted to know about you, how do you imagine a scadrial in 1200 P.C.

    EDIT:

in another topic I asked if it was possible to steal the skills of someone in their area of expertise or specialty, I immediately imagined myself high-class people making hacked attacks, copies of the skills of big names in an area and selling them to each other

  16. look, I think it is impossible on a mundane level to awaken a peak, you would have to superimpose the harmony investiture on the peak and still awaken the metal for it to act as an extra mind, you having so much investiture like that I bet you can achieve the same effect in a more practical way BUT i found the idea of a new mind joining yours to expand interesting, it reminds me a little of the DUNE novels, so I want to think of a way for this to be possible.

an unsealed metal mind is basically a smaller awakened entity, if by chance you created one with 3 attributes, speed of thought, memories and investiture to overload it........

Maybe with the right commands and intention when creating (assuming you need specific commands, intention is always necessary) you can make the metal mind itself use the attributes, might a little hack be needed? I think so, but I think it's worth theorizing on this side

But in that case the metal mind would think like an AI and if we want a second mind then maybe it won't work like that

In fact, this metal mind would be incredibly useful, imagine if dozens of people store knowledge from different areas, the possibilities of calculations you would have

I will use it on MAG....:P

savantism is when power permeates your soul, so maybe if I used a spike that gave me A-steel and an H-nicrosil I would have an ability like wax?

    47 minutes ago, Trusk'our said:

    @alder24 (I couldn't get it out)

This is considering that you can steal more than one metal from the same hemalurgical quadrant with the same peak, as your theory said previously, right?

  18. 33 minutes ago, Trusk'our said:

I understand your point and I think it's plausible for Hemalurgy to act this way, but imagine if this were MAG, my destiny is to free the skaa and I steal the destiny of some nobleman who would improve the efficiency of skaa slavery, taking into account what you He talked about impressions, because they were opposite would I lose my sense of destiny? Wouldn't the conclusions be reached? would it have opposite signs perhaps?

  19. 15 minutes ago, Trusk'our said:

If the attribute is removed in the same way and some part "leaks" then we could use the decay of some kind, is there a way around this?

If I had a leaky hose and there was no way to fix it, I would put it in a garden or try to redirect the water to another end. Do you understand the analogy?

Maybe to improve hemalurgy in some other way, store investiture, I don't know
